Amazing location, beautiful decor, just perfect

The hosts were wonderful, the Josef met us at the train station and fave us a ride to the apartment (the transfer was an additional service he had offered), he told us about different sites on the way to the apartment and overall was very hospitable, friendly and kind, which we very much appreciated. His wife Olena showed us into the apartment and likewise was very hospitable and nice. The apartment was dark as other reviews mentioned, with natural light in two bedrooms and no natural light in the third bathroom and living room / kitchen but since we came with the right expectations, that didn’t bother us and we had a great time overall. We really enjoyed the interior design, the beautiful bathtub, the spectacular chandeliers. Overall stepping into the building and into the apartment, I felt like royalty. Superb location right next to high-fashion stores, cafes and wonderful restaurants. We enjoyed restaurant Verde twice on our three-night stay there. Also I was thoroughly impressed with the stack of 3 machines for laundry (one laundry and two dryers). Doing laundry there was a pleasure, very useful for traveling with young children.

The lack of natural light in the third bedroom and living room/ kitchen but the location and amenities more than make up for it. Actually our kids enjoyed hiding in the dark bedroom watching an iPad so it may have been a pro rather than a con 😄.

Apartment was generously proportioned and well equipped with everything from washer, dryer to an espresso machine with beans supplied. The location was second to nome, right in the heart of Vienna. A very good stay, and we would definitely stay here again in future. There's also a Billa supermarket within about 2 mins walking distance, so it's very easy to stock up with supplies for your stay.

The only thing I can fault, is the pillows. They were just awful, offering no support. We couldn't find any extras in the apartment, so we had to improvise with towels.
