Don’t you even bother

I’m not usually one to give bad reviews, but my experience at this hotel was unacceptable. I was assigned a room that was unbearably damp and musty. The humidity was so high that my respiratory system was immediately affected, and I had to request a room change and take anti-allergic medication. To make matters worse, when I asked the receptionist for help with my locked car, I was treated as if I were a thief. I am not white, nor am I German, and it seemed they assumed I was trying to steal the car rather than being its owner. The situation was extremely rude, humiliating, and you can imagine what more

Ok in my case. It was just a layover to get some sleep which worked ok. For a stay - no way!

Breakfast times ended an hour earlier than communicated bit the personnel were really nice and offerered me one regardless.

I didn't get the code to open the key safe by email or in the app. Upon ringing the service number it went smoothly then. The whole premises smelled of an old ashtray. There was an area in the room where you didn't wanted to remain more than 5 seconds because of the smell. Opening the window wouldn't make things better a. because of the millions of mosquitos and b. there's a busy main street crossing right in front of the building. They need to definitely throw out the floor covering, it's really disgusting.

The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable

The balcony door didn’t lock at all and if I didn’t have a dog I wouldn’t have stayed. The bedroom door wouldn’t shut the bathroom door wouldn’t lock and the heating was full on in the hallway even though it was 25oc. The parking I was charged €7:50 for I had to illegally mount a curb to obtain. I don’t expect much for the price but I did expect basic safety and to be able to stay with in the law.

Pricing was OK. Nice to have access to showers, toilets, WiFi etc. Some staff spoke English which was very helpful.

I was kept up at night by the sound of other visitors talking loudly/shouting- no staff told them to quieten down. Curtains were very difficult and stiff to move. Shower room floor was constantly wet, temperature of the shower fluctuates between hot and cold, without any involvement. Not enjoyable at all. Toilets were also very small, like a prison cell.

Comfortable stay, reasonable price for the experience

The price is pretty cheap and my room has 2 beds even though I booked for 1 person. There's a bus station outside the hotel and multiple ones near there so it's very easy to commute. They also allow self check-in if you come late at night.

There is no toilet inside the bathroom. I had to use a shared toilet at the end of the hall and that's pretty inconvenient. The rooms' numbers also don't follow the same pattern for usual hotel so you have to check the map on each floor to see if your room is on it.

Emergency number was not reachable!!!!!!! This is insanely irresponsible! No one was at the reception when we arrived at night (after they confirmed someone would wait for us 15 minutes after check in time since our bus got cancelled). Woman at the reception kept blaming it on someone else and wasn’t taking us seriously.

Value for money / location (BayArena) absolute top pick for traveling football fan

Proximity to the BayArena makes this the best in terms of location and value for money for the traveling supporter. Breakfast was very OK, beds were comfy. Building and inside looks a bit run down, but clean and functional.

The room I'd booked to stay at with two children + myself had a baby cot as the third bed. Children are 12 and 15, luckily we ended up adding a second room for an extra traveler and we managed to relocate the third sleeper.

In general it's comfy though not perfect.

The room is very warm and clean. The location is, though a bit far from the train station, good as there's supermarkets and restaurants nearby. The staff are friendly.

The early check-in instruction's confusing. I did as what's in the message the hotel sent me, but there's no keys for my room in the box outside, and nobody answered my phone call. Fortunately I managed to get in finally after 30min-waiting. Also, There's no shampoo.

Very good

This "Single Room with Shared Bathroom" included a lavatory in the room. Just the toilette and shower was outside. The staff was very helpful (EN spoken) and the hotel was quiet. Just 5 min walk from the BayArena (a little bit more to the city center). Possibility to park the car near the hotel (if not possible just in front). Internet connection was OK.

room and bathroom are fine, good in size and comfortable... there is plenty of windows with sunlight and many shelves to put your stuffs if you have many, it is very quiet and staff are responsive. Very good free WiFi was the best thing !

I'm not an smoker, but i didn't like the fact if someone causes the smoke alarm to raise, they come and force all guests to open their rooms so they can inspect who raised it, which i certainly didn't like it.. they don't even allow you to wear your cloths for someone else faults ,.. could make a system that they already knew which room raised the alarm, not disturbing and annoying all rooms one by one.

Poor accommodation and poor stay

No Covid precautions on entry to the hotel via the side door which was poor. The corridors smelled strongly of smoke. We were given a single room rather than a double and as the reception was closed when we arrived this could not be rectified. We did receive a credit for the difference in price. Very poor facilities - one pillow, one very thin towel, no hair dryer, used bar of soap was left and unfriendly staff. We would not recommend anyone to stay in this hotel absolutely desperate.
