A hidden gem. Very friendly staff, good breakfast options, comfortable, conveniently located next to a very good restaurant.

Parking issues, entrance easy to miss, depending the direction you come from. Shower was a little inconvenient. Temperature regulation and position of shower head. Probably an easy fix.

There were no curtains over the windows facing my bed in bed 2 I had to sleep in the twin bedded room to ensure best possible sleep.

The garden is nice

The fact that the room doesn’t have a kettle and the insane rule of not using their tea/coffee machine prior to 11:00am. For anybody who stays one night, it means you can drink no hot beverage without paying them, because you have to check out by 11:00am. The mattress was not comfortable; too soft and too thin. With the stiff wood headboards they use and the single thin pillow it was extremely uncomfortable. Also, pillows didn’t smell clean.

Decent hotel but no inside soundproofing

Free parking, great restaurant (independent of the hotel) just at the main entrance on the property. Excellent front desk staff, great breakfast.

No quiet hours enforcement. A sports team (approx 30 pax) ‘invaded’ the whole (unique) floor at approx 11 pm and behaved like owning the place. I have to get off my bed, dress-up, identify the leader and firmly request silence. It took a while until they stopped noise.

All in all a good hotel.

Spacious room for a double and 2 single beds. Comfortable beds. Sauna and pool was a nice thing to have, especially they open till 10pm. Breakfast was very good, small dining room, so you have to book an hour slot but food choice was great.

No tea and coffee facilities in the room, but you could get a hot drink on the ground floor by reception until 9pm. No lift in the hotel.

Super comfortable stay with great service for extended family / group of visitors

We had huge apartments with 3 separate rooms, kitchen,two showers and two toilets - perfect for 5 persons. Functional and clean showers. lots of space for comfortable relaxing stay. Kitchen well equipped. Private parking. There is Edeka supermarket in 5 minutes walking distance. Free private car parking with the gas station just in front of the hotel. We also enjoyed a lot the swimming pool and the sauna. Very friendly personal provided us excellent service! We enjoyed our stay very much!

The hotel is convenient to be reached by car. The parking is a bit busy in evenings due to the popular restaurant nearby. Driving out of the hotel to the street might be tricky in the business hours - the traffic can get active.

Perfect.

I loved the facilities. The opening hours of the Swimmingpool and the sauna. Till 22:00, so no stress at all! We did a bicycle trip and It felt really good to have found this hotel on the way. We could rest and have a really good time.

Lovely stay at Landhotel Fettehenne

Had a very nice stay at Landhotel Fettehenne. The room was decent, the pool was really very nice and the staff were friendly. Free tea and coffee, decent breakfast. Nice stay. I also very much enjoyed the idea of the music listening room upstairs. We also found a nice cheap restaurant down the way with lovely service (Le Palme), so our stay overall was excellent!

Room was a tiny bit run down - not at all in a problematic way, it was all clean and usable - but you got the feeling it would need refurbing shortly. Bathroom a tiny bit small. But these are incredibly minor niggles at worst!

We have stayed at this hotel a few times and enjoy the set up

We felt that this time the staff was not as friendly. It almost felt like we were being treated like second class guests as we had not booked directly with the hotel (which was not possible at the time of booking). Especially the breakfast staff was not very friendly but very stressed about where we could sit (even though there were still open tables). A little too over regulated for our liking.

Good and friendly personnel. Very silent in the neighborhood. Room newed, the bathroom is big and has windows to outside of the buiding. Big windows and very good heating.

They did not clean the room daily, it has to be demanded at reception desk, I do not if it is paid apart. Breakfast is a little bit short, but good quality and healthy (no bakery).

I spend the weekend of 14/15 january here with wife and daughter. Definetely would recommend this place: nice, comfortable room and (family) friendly atmosphere. Enjoyed the swimming pool very much!

I didn't see a place suitable for walking dogs. I think there should be one for people like me who travel and pay for dogs. Unfortunately, the restaurant was not working and we had to order food from a website, which was terrible and the price was high.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. The facilities were very clean and the staff were great!

The breakfast was awesome and provided a wide variety of hot and cold breakfast food options along with a great coffee machine. The location was great for me and my family as the hotel is only 10 minutes from where our relatives live in Leverkusen.

The shower stall did not have an adequate seal so that when you took a shower water went all over the bathroom floor. We reported this problem to the staff and they stated that this issue would be fixed.

It was a perfect choice after the exhausted way from Poland to Germany with 3 kids. The staff was super friendly and was ready to help with everything, I am really appreciate it. The room was clean and they brought extra bed for the youngest child. The poil and sauna really helped to feel myself better, even i was super tired. Breakfast is totally enough, and every family member got what he wanted. You can find the food for adult as well as for 2 years old baby. After check out we left our 4 big suitcases in the hall, and were able to make some important things in the city, otherwise with 3 kids and so many luggage it was quite impossible. Just want to say thank you for the woman in reception and all the staff.

Landhotel Fettehenne is precisely like the photos the have. It is VERY family friendly yet very professional, clean and well run (read: also good for business travelers). Gunther, in particular, is beyond a doubt, an excellent representative of Hotel Fettehenne.

The indoor pool was very cold. I don't know if it's because of the energy crisis but it made swimming with my children unpleasant. There is also not much parking so be prepared for a tight squeeze for bigger cars.
