The view is what you pay for, can’t fault it! We had the room with a view of the tower. And that’s why we stayed here. It was also very clean, so I was happy about that. My children loved they had separate beds up on a platform in the room but I would say it is not suitable for younger children as it was up steep steps with a balcony. My kids are 10 & 16. It had tea and coffee making facilities which was nice to have. Overall, it was ok, for one night to visit the tower and with a great view. It was clean but not the most comfortable.
The man on reception was not welcoming at all. No friendliness, we felt like it was an inconvenience us being there. The sign on the door that said they had vacancies also was a big put off for me. Also, when we checked out there was no one around, we were instructed to leave our key on the desk when we checked in the night before. The king bed was big but not comfortable and the room itself had a very weird smell in it. Also, only one pillow each on each bed is really poor we had to use our jumpers and towels as pillows. And no one to ask for more pillows as no staff around.
