Very close to the centre of Bourges. Beautiful spot. Quirky but very comfortable furnishings and shower. Amazing story to the place.

The most unusual stay I’ve ever had! Pictures say it all. Super quiet area, even it’s the in the city center. Very helpful staff, we got the recommendations about what to see and where to have dinner in the area, which was also a very good experience. Also unusual breakfast - you’re sharing a table with other guests and the food is homemade and delicious

The parking might be tricky, but we received the recommendations before coming, so all was good

Lovely historical hotel in de center of bourges. Very nicely decorated and the breakfast was lovely and homemade. Walking distance from a nice square with lots of restaurants. The staff is super friendly and helpful.

A maison de maitre full of character and history in the middle of the historic town.

The hotel is in the heart of the city. It has parking facilities and the rooms we were given were lovely and full of character. The owners are very charming.

Historic Short Stay

Wow, this is an amazing historic property that has been renovated in a sympathetic manner. You really feel like you are staying in a place of historic importance. The location is right in the centre of the historic city, a short walk from the town centre and Cathedral. The team were really helpful and we particularly liked the garden which was a bit of an oasis in the middle of the city. Our room was large and spacious with all the facilities that you need for a short stay.

We like the property which was a great experience. My only slight criticism was breakfast. Everybody states in their reviews that breakfast is amazing and I am sure it is if you only eat bread and cake for breakfast. I tend to eat a Keto diet so am really looking for some protein with my breakfast. I do not really eat bread and cakes. We were offered a natural yogurt which was good and there were some almonds I could nibble on. However, some eggs, cheese or other form of protein would have been most welcome. My only feedback is that not everyone eats croissants, bread, jam and cake for breakfast. So a little more variety would have been great.

Classic French house hotel

What a beautiful property. A careful restored building, with beautiful and tastefully furnished rooms. Spacious and luxurious, in a classic French style, you feel immediately calm and relaxed in this space. Staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was a large shared table in a stunning dining room ladened with juices, croissants, bread etc. It would have been nice to have some eggs/ham etc on offer too. Car parking is important so do book ahead. We met the owner who has a good eye to a hotel experience.

Breakfast could have some hot dishes for the price point. It would be good to have EV charging on site and I note this was planned.

This is a must visit venue, which will provide memories that will stay with you forever.

We were very fortunate to be upgraded to the Don Carlos Suite. So unexpected and such an amazing experience. This is an amazing hotel and we will never forget our experience. The venue is well situated in the town, with eating places nearby. If you can you must visit the nearby cathedral. Take your time and just enjoy the stained glass windows.
