the room was very cramped and needs a complete overhaul the bathroom is very old fashioned and dirty the shower base was held in by sealant it was that thick and mouldy, the scrambled egg was very slimy and the bacon had an extremely strange taste, we didnt eat after 1 bite, there was nothing else on offer apart from dry bread and butter/margerine not sure what the other things were we didnt recognise anything, it was more like a truck stop than a family hotel

Close to the motorway clean comfortable rooms fine for an overnight stay. Tulsa boucherie restaurant a few meters away was just what we needed. Very friendly English speaking staff and good food.

Disappointing

I was given number by email. When I arrive after 16.00 there was nobody in reception The number provided proved not to work outside the entrance. I had to phone for service. Then a new number was given and I was asked to note it down. How to write the new number when I had just arrived with my luggage all packed. I think you should ensure staff are on site from at least 16.00, not later. It was a bad impression from the beginning. The two members of staff (evening and next morning) lacked any welcoming charm, sense of service. They seemed detached from the job, everything to help guest sounded like a burden on them. That's again a bad impression to leave. I will think twice about making another booking with B&B. Situation of hotel at Bourges is difficult at night.. To get to a restaurant you have to walk round a busy, badly lit roundabout where there is continual traffic, often HGVs. I will not choose Bourges again if I can plan my journey appropriately.

the convenience of the location, the secure car park, and the vicinity to other amenities. The room was confortable although the air conditioner was not working properly.

Great value and very convenient location

Breakfast was good. I like scrambled egg and bacon and this is one of the few hotels in France to offer this, especially at this price.

Stay away, this place is a dive.

This is a terrible hotel and it’s also terrible value. There wasn’t even any soap in the sink in the bathroom! And the breakfast costs 7 euro for a scrap of dried bread and some budget jam and bitter coffee. We chose it because we thought it would be quick and easy for one night as a stopover but it was so horrible we should have chosen pretty much anywhere else.
