Outdated room

Very convenient location and very nice lobby.

The rooms are noticeably outdated, with worn carpeting and several lights that didn’t work. The decor is far less modern than what the lobby suggests. We asked for a late check-out, but the receptionist was rather dismissive and pushed for an early check-out instead, saying it suited her better as room access closes at 11:30 a.m. for cleaning. The breakfast was also underwhelming, with very limited options. Overall, our stay was a disappointing experience.

Clean, reasonably priced hotel in good location in Bourges

Good location, central but nevertheless quiet (we had, as requested, a room not facing the street), very clean, a short walk to the cathedral and old town.

Room was relatively small, toilet in one direction, sink in another, breakfast (at a fee of 15 Euros per person!) should have been included.

Superb

The bed was very comfortable and large. The room was spacious, but there was only one chair. The bathroom was large and very clean. We enjoyed the bath, but it was quite deep, so a little difficult to get out of. We enjoyed the tea making facility, but we would have liked larger mugs with handles.

There was no mini refrigerator, which would have been nice to keep drinks cold. Also, we were in one of the top terrace rooms, so there were 20 steps to climb, after you got out of the lift. Ask for a disability room if you struggle with stairs.

Overall, Property aligned to expectations. We enjoyed the lounge warmed up with gas fire place.

While advertised as Pet Friendly, the hotel owner informed us upon arrival to the breakfast room early morning that dogs were not welcomed at breakfast while there was no mention of this at reservation nor registration. This has not been a nice experience.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. They arranged an infant bed in our room when they knew we were travelling with our baby. When we arrived everything was set.

Superb

We had a lovely room with a terrace, an excellent bathroom and an exceptionally comfortable bed. It was surprisingly quiet and dark at night despite being on quite a busy but attractive road. There was no problem at all parking outside in the street - we paid €2 to park from 3pm until 11am the next day (though the hotel has a small car park). Breakfast was very good with a lovely range of locally produced products. The staff were efficient and friendly. Bourges is a most attractive place to visit and handy for the A71.

Nothing really - the room was a bit cool and a bit of advice on the heating system would have been useful, but we could have asked.

Beautiful decorated, personal service, superb breakfast

Very nicely decorated hotel, we had a nice modern room towards the back which was very quiet. We were welcomed by a lovely lady who was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast is superb, you have to reserve a slot (covid-rules), fresh home-made breads, wonderful coffee. The hotel is located near the train station, has secured parking, but is a 15-20mins walk from the old town and restaurants.

The elevator only runs up to the 1st floor, our rooms was in the 2nd and the staircase up was a spiral winding narrow one, a bit of a challenge with big heavy suitcases.

This lovely hotel has a managed a lovely blend of stylish contemporary and classic French style. It has recently undergone a complete renovation of a high standard. We found the room very comfortable and spotlessly clean.

Das Zimmer ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet- eines der schönsten Hotels auf unserer Reise, großes schönes Bad; Parkplatz am Haus, großer Park fast nebenan (sehr praktisch mit Hund), für Bahnreisende: direkt am Bahnhof.

Die Dame beim Einchecken war nicht besonders zuvorkommend; das Hotel ist über Mittag geschlossen, in der Hitze war es nicht angenehm zu warten bis das Hotel öffnet, gut zu wissen , um die Anreisende entsprechend zu planen.
