Comfortable and straightforward

Comfortable hotel in a quiet area of Bourges, a nice walk from the centre. Great that it's dog friendly!

As we were on the ground floor, we had a glass door rather than a window which we didn't want to leave open at night, so it was a little hot.

A stop over

It's very near petrol station ⛽️ and has a lovely greenaway walk aound Lake Auron with great wildlife .

My room was to cllostraphioba for 2 people, No Air Conditioning, only an electric fan ,very dark colours throughout the building .

Adequate, if somewhat depressing, stopover

It was easy to find and park. An adequate place for an overnight stay. The bed and shower were ok.

The fan didn't go off in the bathroom all night. The decor was unloved and depressing. There was no remote for the TV and when I asked reception where it was, they said someone must have stolen it, and shrugged. The sound proofing is terrible, it felt like there were a dozen people in our room.

Exceptional staff: Doriane and Diane were extremely attentive, helpful, friendly, professional and informative. The location was great and the 30 min walk from the hotel into Bourges was lovely along by the old canal. Bourges is a beautiful place to visit: stunning cathedral, interesting streets and architecture. A great half way stop when traveling through France.

The drains in the bathroom need some attention as they didn't smell too healthy. The bedroom layout needs improvement for wheelchair users (we have a disabled teenager in a wheelchair).

A good stopover hotel for visiting the beautiful Bourges town centre.

Bourges is a beautiful town. Wasn't expecting that. Had only booked as a stop-off on the way to Cherbourg for the ferry to the UK. Would have liked to have spent more time there. The town centre is only a 20 minute walk away. The hotel met our requirements for a comfortable and clean stop over in a good location just off the autoroute so no complaints. Not cheap for two rooms but I suspect that this is a popular tourist destination. Didn't use their restaurant so can't comment on that but the staff were very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is a little bit tired and could do with some money being spent on it. There is no aircon - but there was a fan in the room which was on when we arrived on a very hot day and the room was cool.
