Great place to stay!!

Check in was very smooth. The house and room are very well decorated, clean and comfortable. Breakfast included many homemade options and everything I tried was delicious. The location is just a short walk to the train station in a quiet area. Very convenient. I would definitely stay again when I am in Bourges!

Excellent stay- highly recommended!

Magalie was a very friendly host and helped when we needed some information about local services. The house was beautiful and the bed was supremely comfortable. Excellent breakfast.

The walk to and from city centre was approx 20 mins each time- so walking there and back twice a day was a bit of a nuisance- however we knew the house was out of the city centre when we booked and so it was not a fault we didn't know about!

Lovely place to stay close to Bourges

This was a beautiful B&B situated in a secure location with plenty of parking and within walking distance of Bourges. Magalie greeted us with real warmth and although we only stayed one night we really enjoyed it here. Breakfast was plentiful and varied and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

this is a very characterful chateau. it is filled with beautiful antique furniture and is spotlessly clean. the breakfast was excellent - the host is very friendly and very kindly booked an evening meal for us in a local restaurant.

The bathroom was a little dated - however there was amble hot water and the shower worked well

Perfect for night or two

Warm welcome from the owner and help with my luggage. It is a beautiful house with lovely furnishings and our room was very spacious, with a very large, comfortable bed. Very generous breakfast in the grand dining room.

The shower was rather antiquated and required rather a large step up, which wasn't ideal for someone with mobility issues. I missed having a bedside table where I could put my book and my alarm clock but that wasn't possible with the present layout, which is a shame, because it is a beautiful room.

Lovely old house and garden with private parking within easy walking distance of the centre. Everything was right: lovely room, splendid breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, and even a communal sitting room with refreshments. Highly recommended.

Amazing

Magalie the owner was an excellent host despite the language barrier. The setting a 19th Century Manor House was wonderfully decorated delightful furnishings it was a great shame it was only a one night stop over. The breakfast was amazing everything you could think of for continental and you could sit out on the terrace if you wished.

A comfortable guest house, perfect for our overnight stay.

The host was incredibly accommodating. We had a very early start in the morning, well before the allotted breakfast time, but she made sure we knew where everything was so that we could help ourselves. The rooms were clean and comfortable and the shower worked very well.

Being an old house, the floorboards did creak a lot. We were therefore very conscious about moving about so early on the morning we left!

The house has the most beautiful interior. Madame was charming and had prepared a lovely breakfast with what appeared to be some homemade produce. The bed was huge and very comfortable. The town is very interesting and worth a visit.The whole stay was fantastic.

A lovely, period property, comfortable, quiet and clean with a great ambience.

A beautiful old house that has been renovated by the owners very lovingly. Very interesting history of who owned it in the past which Madame told us about. The house itself is in its own grounds behind security gates and with secure parking on site. It is on the edge of town and about a fifteen minute walk into the old centre where the amazing cathedral is located around which are a variety of restaurants. Our room was spotlessly clean and of a really good size,furnished with lovely period furniture. Continental breakfast very good with Madame’s home made jam!
