The bed was very uncomfortable for a hotel bed, Noise on the floor above was all through the nights and through out the days. Sounds like light construction work with all the rumbling and moving of Furniture. I did not get much rest there.

Cleanliness was ok , but 1 room was considerably smaller than the other. The first room we were allocated had a whining air con unit so moved to another room which was fine but still not the 172 sq ft specified on booking details. Also the reception was not open at all and so we had go over to the sister hotel with any problems.

Right across the street from the train station and about a ten-minute walk from the beautiful old city. We chose it because we had a short stopover and liked the idea of not lugging our baggage very far. It worked. The rooms are clean and small and charmless. The reception is at the front desk at the hotel across the street, which is a little weird but fine. They were nice about our leaving our bags to pick up before an afternoon train. Good price and convenient to the train station. Not much else to say. Bourges is beautiful.

Excellent location. Close to train station and city centre. No need to take a taxi. Quiet place. Clean room and bathroom. Bed is comfortable. Free wifi. I only wish breakfast was included. It is not a five star hotel but it is good enough for me. I will certainly book a room in that hotel again.

The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Our room was spacious, clean and the beds very comfortable. Bourges is very pretty, with a number of excellent restaurants. Great choice of a larger or smaller and very affordable breakfast. We would definitely recommend this hotel to others! 😀

Hotel was directly across from Bourges Railway Station but very little disturbance from trains, however there is also a busy traffic roundabout which can disturb your sleep from around 04.30am. I did have one meal (very nice food and wine) at the "Made In" Restaurant which is part of the same hotel group but situated across the way, I was also able to charge this meal to my room which is very convenient. All staff that I encountered were extremely polite and helpful during my stay. Only down side was that the room was quite small with a small desk and plastic chair. Wifi was problematic with frequent drop outs

arriving @ 400pm there was a note on the door sending us to a neighboring hotel. there we checked in, were given a key and a front door code. there is no lift. top floor is a climb. but the room was clean and adequete. james
