An absolute gem of a hotel. Historical, unique and in a perfect rural location with walks from the doorstep.
The room was beautifully decorated, a wonderfully comfortable bed, spa bath and the view from the window was food for the soul.
The staff are all friendly, efficient and so helpful.
The food was excellent and so many places of interest nearby.
A place to relax, be in nature, enjoy the peace. Perfect.

Breakfast was great. We didn’t book dinner as we had eaten too well during the day but the menu sounded very interesting.
