The room was better than we expected, very clean and all facilities good. Staff were really helpful and friendly and food in the restaurant, while not gourmet dining, was good value with generous portions. Large beer garden was clean with plenty of seating and bar prices cheap (pint of Madri for under a fiver!).

We loved everything ! I had stayed at the Hand on many occasions when working at the fabulous Morton Hall school. Always wanted to stay on a a holiday basis. Outstanding hotel! Thank you .
We didn’t realise there was a function going on but we worked around it.

It was ok but needs modernisation that’s for sure
had to clean mess up that was left after a spillage in the bathroom that had been missed by the cleaners
