Pontcysyllte Chapel Tearoom

Lovely place comfy clean room attentive staff and great breakfast.

Nothing

Unusual property so fun to stay there …very clean and cozy great food and friendly people

Nothing to dislike

Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice. The surroundings were beautiful and the chapel is very close to the aqueduct. The staff are all very friendly and the room was large and spotless.

We would have liked a hook for the shower head in the bathroom as it makes showering easier.

Lovely converted chapel, clean room, nice staff. Had lunch on arrival, Welsh rarebit, really good. Busy place right by the aqueduct. Free parking adjacent. Handy guests entrance is separate to tea rooms so we could come and go easily.

No curtain in room, there is a screen that doesn't block the light and doesn't fill the whole window. only one bedside lamp, so I couldn't read my book in bed. would have loved a safety shower mat, as shower is above bath and really slippy. Staff had locked up and left when I discovered this after 4 p.m. when you are then by yourselves in the property. .I mentioned to staff member when leaving, so hope they can pop one in so guests have the choice of using it.
