Always enjoy our stay at the Wynnstay Hotel 5 stars for everything accommodation, food, staff, cleanliness and location. Always stay here when visiting friends and family. Would highly recommend.

Lovely staff, good food

We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment, but the bar meals and the Sunday Roast were good - very generous quantities. The real ale price was fine, though they had limited choice; didn't buy any other drinks, though we shared what seemed to be a perfectly good red wine.There seemed to be a good spirits collection, including locally-produced ones. There were issues with charging to the room because we were booked through Hotels.com. We had to request this service twice before it was provided. Location and car-parking facilities were fine and the room was quiet. No lifts - so if you need help, you'll need to ask.

Quirky memorable room, not enough charging points and a lot were unusual European type plug sockets. Lovely restaurants.

The bar was well stocked, with a good choice of drinks. The breakfast was very nice indeed, with an excellent choice on the menu, as well as a good variety of cereals, yogurts and cakes. The staff were excellent. From checking in, housekeeping and restaurant staff. They were all very friendly and helpful.

Great parking, lovely hotel, clean room and comfortable bed and excellent staff

Excellent breakfast and good restaurant food. It's a long way up to the 2nd floor with a difficult fire door at the top.

A good hotel stopover

The dishes in the breakfast buffet were not properly cleaned. Besides that, it was a lovely place to stay.

Lovely hotel and we really enjoy our stay and the cute little town

Lovely hotel in brilliant position with lovely staff. Room and bathroom had a few scuffs around but weren’t detrimental to our stay. Staff really helpful and friendly. Thanks

Stayed for 3 nights. The room was a little smaller than in most modern hotels but the shower room was excellent, well equipped and stylish. Nespresso coffee machine in the room... no fridge. Welcoming and helpful reception staff. Service in the restaurant was mixed - just not quite as attentive as it might have been. The food was good but unadventurous, and reasonably priced. Overall we were satisfied and would stay there again.

Noise of heating or beer coolers on at 7.45 each morning.

The property in the main public areas are good, restaurant is good too but the rooms are poor and very dated. They are not cleaned properly with stains on the carpet and mold in the bathrooms. This is the second time we have stayed here and tried to give them a second chance. The restaurant is four star but not the rooms.

Everything about our stay was wonderful from the very start. The managers kind and 100 percent focussed on hospitality. The interior was impressively decorated and the rooms beautiful. Cosy beds, excellent bed linen and fluffy towels. Great staff, consistently excellent food. Flexible and generous breakfast options. Highly recommend.

Great for a one night en route stay. Staff were very friendly, he room n bed very nice/comfortable. Room quiet, especially when the bar closed n outsiders left. I could keep the window open.

We really did enjoy our stay. The restaurant and bar staff were extremely pleasant and well trained. The room was comfortable and spacious, a fresh coat of paint would do it good though. I wouldnt put it in the class of luxury hotel because of the age of the hotel. However, it was charming and comfortable. The back garden area was lovely to sit and have a drink.

Just a one night stay for us as we were attending a wedding. Really lovely stay, staff all friendly, room was beautiful however it didn’t smell great but otherwise lovely and clean, view lovely and breakfast was lovely I felt terrible for leaving it because it was so delish!

A cosy hotel with accommodating staff. Safe and free parking. Nice bar and a beautiful outdoor area - it’s biggest plus! Breakfast looked lovely and the cooked English breakfast was very good. However, gluten free options were limited so if you have dietary needs I would check in advance how they will cater for this.

Friendly staff, convenient parking, clean room, good food.

The traffic noise was not good from time to time due to noisy exhausts on cars Mty Television set did not work and someone failed to fixit despite being reported. Breakfasts were overpriced and NO option re choice of cooked versus continental

Lovely hotel and great breakfast 👍

Staff were all superb, extremely friendly, fun and polite. Communal areas are beautifully decorated and air conditioned which was a god send in the heat last weekend. Bedroom was well equipped but Room 100 doesn’t have a view (apart from over a roof and air conditioning units ) and the positioning near the air con units made it extremely hot. Would be a help for the bathroom window to be able to open to allow ventilation. There are no lifts at the hotel which needs to be taken into consideration if you have health issues. The grounds of the hotel are very nice with outside seating and there was an outdoor screen for the Wimbledon final which was a nice touch. Good selection on the evening menu but sadly the food wasn’t great. Excellent breakfast and choice. Hotel has ample parking but limited disabled spaces.

Great place to stay & reception staff were very friendly and professional

Excellent location in the town centre with free parking. Room was very clean and there was even a welcome message from the maid. Quiet room and very comfortable. Large bathroom with walk in shower.
