Nant Gloyw Oswestry

Our host was very friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and comfortable. We liked being able to eat the evening meal we had brought with us at the table in the guest lounge. We did not have breakfast as we had to leave early in the morning.

Everything was perfect. Upon booking, Michael (the host) sent detailed check-in instructions and information about places to visit and a range of options for eating out. The check-in process was smooth. Off-road parking was available, which was appreciated given the weather conditions on our arrival (torrential rain!). Michael was extremely friendly. He showed us to our room and explained where everything was. He also suggested additional places to visit. Both the large room and ensuite were immaculate. The decor was tasteful and homely. An extensive range of teas, hot chocolate and coffee was provided along with fresh milk and yummy biscuits. The bed was extremely comfortable - as were the chairs. A large smart TV with guest Netflix was also provided, along with good WiFi. The ensuite was large, with a great shower and heated towel rail. Large towels and a selection of toiletries were provided. The location was excellent - a short 10 minute walk into the centre of town. The breakfast was divine! It included fresh juice, coffee (or tea), warm pastries, a wide range of cereal, yoghurt, toast and homemade jams - in addition to delicious eggs cooked to our liking. It would be worth visiting Oswestry just to stay at this delightful guesthouse! If we are ever in the vicinity, we will definitely stay here again. Highly recommend.

Incredibly friendly accommodation with a high standard in every aspect. Great breakfast, comfortable, well equipped - fantastic value for money.

The location was good for us. We didn't have breakfast. The room was comfortable, clean and quiet and the staff were all hospitable. The food served in the pub was good and plenty of it,

The bed was good but a little firm for us, probably fine for most. The floor in the room was not even but not a problem, the carpet was clean and of good quality. Wouldn't stop us using it again. The parking was limited but you could park on the road for free.

Michael was extremely accommodating, we had access to charge our electric vehicle and he even gave us a lift to the party we were attending. The breakfast was delicious including homemade goods. Very friendly and we would definitely stay again.

Michael the host was a perfect gentleman & gave a warm, friendly reception. The facilities are excellent; well presented, clean & spacious. Very quiet at night and secure on site parking makes this an excellent venue. The breakfast was absolutely first class, complete with home grown produce including fresh eggs from their free range chickens. A welcome change from the sometimes soulless corporate hotels.
