The rooms were very smart, with comfortable beds and good en suites. Plenty tea and coffee Evening meal was good value. The complimentary continental breakfast was extensive with a full range of coffees from the machine. The staff were very friendly.
The hotel was a bit chilly although each bedroom has an electric heater and we were given one when we were in the lounge.

Great atmosphere
Breakfast was rather sparse. Also the fire in the lounge sent smoke into our room - unacceptable

Breakfast was delicious and a good buffet selection is what I needed to get me on the road back home to Milton Keynes.
I had tricky time finding the place as Google Maps sent me 400 meters in the wrong direction..passed the Glyn Valley hotel. A minor inconvenience as I managed to ask one of the locals who knew where the hotel was.

Staff very friendly and helpful, very quiet
The hotel itself could do with some updating and more attention to stains on stair carpet, shower enclosures, cleaning behind cupboards and drawers, also left with no soap in en-suite and very little shower gel.
