Quiet room (separate to pub) with comfortable beds. We dont like full, hot breakfasts so it was nice not to have to pay for it. The cereal/fruit /toast/ pastries were ideal for us.
The food in the pub was nice, probably not worth the price but that's fine as a one-off. The pub was attractive and cosy. All staff were lovely and very helpful. Note - free toiletries are available at the bar, not in the room.
The only things I didnt like were the stag head looming over our breakfast area and the picture of men 'enjoying' dog fighting in a stable.

We had a great 2 night stay here, also had dinner and the food was excellent. Very comfodtable bed and quiet as rooms are located in a separate building across the pub car park away from the road.
Breakfast was continental with a good selection.
Staff were so friendly & helpful, would recommend this place.
