Ideal place for a quiet, relaxing stay. The staff could not have been any more helpful or accommodating. Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice, plus a fresh light bites menu available all afternoon and into the evening.

Really nice Grade 2 listed former Rectory with a lot of history and character. This hotel sits in its own quiet secluded grounds of around 4 acres (i believe) and is a short walk from the centre of Wem. The hotel was reasonably priced and my stay included a decent breakfast. However, the real strength of this hotel is the excellent staff, who were so pleasant and helpful and always greeted you with a nice smile. It goes without saying that I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area.
