For such a large hotel the breakfast dinning area was small and inadequate. Having booked breakfast for 08:30 and for 5 people we were disappointed to find no room and to be told to return in 20 minutes only to find there was still no room. We eventually asked for a refund and went to a cafe close to the hotel.
The hotel could have utelised the bar area instead of the smaller function room.I enjoyed my stay

Location and room was perfect
Charging: no plugs next to the bed and didn't EU adapters or I wasn't made aware that ones were needed.

The outside appearance, was impressive. A significant building that is part of the history of Wrexham. Good location in the centre town. Friendly and helpful staff.
The public areas inside the building are run down and are in desperate need of updating. I don't think I've ever seen an ashtray in an Elevator before, but I have now!. Unfortunately the standards continued in my room and the bathroom was due a major overhaul. It's a shame to see such a lovely building , on the outside be so neglected by it's current owners.
