8.0 / 10.0
Location is brilliant. Room overlooks the car park, we like that so no need to go out and check all ok. Breakfast was ample, everything available and hot.
The hotel couldn’t be blamed but the people in the next room, talking loudly till 3 am, then having sex noisily for further 40 minutes. We didn’t get a restful sleep.
4.0 / 10.0
Friendly staff good location and car parking
Breakfast was awful, room was tired
9.0 / 10.0
Great location for town centre with free parking. Rooms clean and functional although could do with a bit of an update
7.0 / 10.0
Location very good. Staff very good.
Downside room basic and not much room considering the room was a double.
7.0 / 10.0
The perception of the hotel when arriving at the rear. Looks like a service yard not a car park.
Corridor to rooms 1-20 smelled damp. And looked dirty.
However the room was clean and comfortable.
6.0 / 10.0
The staff were welcoming, informative about the local area and extremely helpful.
Ease of parking.
Central Location.
Main Room was spacious.
Good space for hanging up clothes and storing suitcases.
USB charging points in the plug sockets.
Very dated and tired facilities, come on Marstons, Wrexham is up and coming again so out your hand in your pocket.
Water was scolding hot, temperature needs regulating.
Window didn't shut properly creating a draft, we did our best to block this with one of the spare pillows.
There was ducting for cables that was open.
Areas of damp damage in the main room had been painted over previously and not repaired and treated properly which meant rhe paint was now cracking and the previous damage showing through.
New sealant around the bath area had been applied over the old and the mould marks were showing through.
No slip stars in the bath where no longer no slip and were holding dirt that you won't be able to remove.
Freestanding Toilet roll holder was damaged with rust showing through.
There was an unused backplate on the wall wgich I can only assume was where the previous wall
hung Toilet roll holder was.
The bathroom door didn't shut.
Chair in the room had stains in the fabric.
Storage heater covers no fixed properly.
Everytime tiu sat up in bed yiur head hit the lights on the headboard, I'm only 5' 3"!!

Staff were wonderful, and it was in the middle of the town. Parking was included. Staff quick to supply a heater for our room.
Very tired looking rooms. Windowsill was covered in mould, and window catch was loose. No heating when we first arrived and window had been left open, so room was freezing.

Absolutely nothing.
I stayed at this vital 5 plus years ago. This time the room was absolutely disgusting, to the extent I checked out and stayed somewhere else.

Staff are always very friendly and helpful.
The Luxury Hypnos beds are excellent. I've never had a poor night's sleep at The Wynnstay.
Personally, I find the lighting in the room is not bright enough for my needs. I need at least one bright light, due to eyesight problems.

Great location. Bar is wonderful and the restaurant is very good.

Nothing!
It was filthy and run down. One of the worst I’d seen. We canceled onsite, got refunded and went elsewhere.

The hotel was clean and the guy on reception when i arrived was helpful & polite. Checking in was straightforward & quick.
The rooms bathroom was outdated and needed a refurbishment. Rust all over bath, stains on the floor and toilet! The carpet in the room also had big stains like someone had previously been sick and carpet was mega old. The room was freezing I couldn't believe no temperature dail in the room to control which you get in most hotels. It made it a uncomfortable stay. The bed mattress was comfortable but the pillows were very hard. The breakfast was disappointing I asked for 2 items to be left off the lady on the till didn't say would you a replacement like other restaurants will! I asked all to be well done and it arrived with a runny egg. I kindly highlighted it to the lady who then said you didn't specify the item's! What? I asked for it all to be well done what do you think that means? She become very moody staring at me! I paid for this breakfast, why shouldn't i say anything!
Also hotel was noisy, there was some druggies kicking off when arrived and issue with some ladies later on where police were present.
The location is ideal for a night out in Wrexham but for the price you expect better. I wouldn't want to stay here again the Premier inn is so much nicer in so many ways.

Staff were great- excellent breakfast.
There was a lot of noise outside the main entrance until well after 2am, and a ludicrously bright light on the EV charging point that was on all night and even got around the blackout curtains. But I was tired enough that these didn’t bother me too much.
You should put that light on a sensor, and try not to let drunk people sort their relationships loudly by your main entrance!

Able to take food and drink from the pub to my room. Central location. Free parking
Very basic room. Tiny tv. No usb charging points. Only one plug socket .
9.0 / 10.0
It was in the centre of everything and it was clean and staff were very welcoming
There was nothing to dislike
5.0 / 10.0
The staff were friendly & parking was convenient
The hotel is in dire need of renovation. There was a rust stain in our bath tub that didn't make it feel clean. Very overpriced for what was a glorified motel
8.0 / 10.0
It was clean enough
Raging screaming teenagers right outside our window, on hotel property as guests refusing to quieten down so we could sleep, we lost all hope and left to drive two hours home as we were so very disappointed! Would like refund
5.0 / 10.0
The staff were really nice and helpful especially the lady on the reception when we arrived, the bed was really comfortable .
When we got to the room the TV didn't work and when we told reception they tried there best to help but with no one from maintenance on site were unable to fix it, whilst in the bathroom we saw something under the sink which turned out to be a dried out part of a chicken frame that had been there longer than a couple of days, we got moved to another room as the lady on reception was really understanding and helpful, after the incident in the first room the room just didn't feel clean so made for an uncomfortable stay.

really helpful friendly staff, clean bedding and comfortable bed. Great location for town centre. The staff obviously take a pride in their jobs and work really hard but management is letting them down with the lack of maintenance/refurbishment.
The area was surprisingly quiet for a Friday night especially when lots of Derby football fans in town for the match with Wrexham the next day, no trouble so got a really good nights sleep.
The Hotel is in dire need of a makeover, its very tired, peeling paint, cracks in the walls and the bathroom although well cleaned smelled of urine, rusty pipework, broken shower holder just really needs some money spending on it to get it up to date. The place is really badly signposted and the sat nav really wasnt helpful so took a long time to find the car park.
6.0 / 10.0
Staff very good. Had some good food in bar.
Loads of signs in carpark to say pay for your stay. So paid £12.00 to stop overnight only to find at reception it was free for guests. No signs that i could see in carpark to say it was free for guests.g

Location.
The rooms were needing some renovation. Although the beds and rooms were clean there were lots of wear & tear showing on the walls and doors.
When I asked for some blankets as my relatives get cold I was given 2 single duvets and one of these had large yellow stains on them which I returned to the housekeeping room. I also asked for a bath mat to prevent my elderly relatives from slipping in the bath to be told that you don’t have any, so they were unable to have a shower for the 2 nights we stayed.
Felt sorry for the lady working breakfast on our first morning, she was on her own due to staff being sick/no show, just glad we didn’t order a cooked breakfast!
3.0 / 10.0
Location and the staff
The noise from the fan connected to kitchen, the noise from the function room and lack of notice about a party that would be going on until 11.30pm
