A small but great cozy, friendly place to stay, supported by very good staff.

This is not a big glitzy hotel owned by some corporate chain. The St Georges is a small, cozy, neighborhood hotel in an older building but modernized in all the important amenities. There is even a nice garden area out back with chairs and tables. It would be lovely to sit out there in good weather. A nice mix of rustic Belgium and modern facilities that are undergoing renovation. A beautiful new breakfast room with a very good buffet for a decent price. The staff are very friendly and extremely helpful. The neighborhood is very quiet at night and it is within easy walking distance to the Mons Grand Place area with a good choice of restaurants and bars. This was my second stay at the St Georges in four months and I will definitely go back.

The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast had a choice of fresh sweet and salty items. The hotel is in the city centre and you could get a valuable stay with a reasonable price

It is a challenge to park nearby. I would have appreciated a single bed (we were in 2), although the bed we got was comfy enough. It was unclear where the breakfast room was, but we found it

Large warm quiet room. Good bed and pillows. Good location. Nice welcome. Garden with seating.

Lack of reading lamp by the bed and seating area. Tea and coffee wasn't replenished. If a coffee machine is provided, then it's helpful to have some pods. Two I've ery r four days isn't enough! But I had a good stay overall thank you.

We left early.

This hotel feels two-faced. It has around eight rooms that are modern, clean, and high quality—but then there are the old, dirty, and low-quality rooms, which we unfortunately had the “pleasure” of staying in.

We were given the apartment called Garden View. The name is misleading: you can only see the garden if you stand on the bed in the smaller bedroom, while from the kitchen/living and master bedroom it overlooks a parking lot. The room itself was in very poor condition: • A sagging bed • Lamps half hanging from the ceiling • Floor lamps daisy-chained together with extension cords • Stained curtains (that didn’t fit the windows) • Dirty, unhygienic pillows • Very dusty throughout • Mold in the bathroom Overall, this stay was extremely disappointing. The difference in quality between rooms is unacceptable, and guests should not be placed in accommodation that is clearly neglected and unhygienic. The manager eventually offered us one of the other rooms, but that was after midnight during the second night: we had already booked ourselves a third night elsewhere. I won’t be coming back for sure.

Characterful, spacious, well located and with friendly staff. Breakfast was great.

A very chilled, funky apart-hotel in an excellent location. Presumably converted from the house of a wealthy 19thC family it's an interesting building that has been sympathetically converted.

The lack of hotel parking was a nuisance. Paid on-street parking was available nearby but these days that usually requires you to have a local parking app that a visitor is unlikely to have on their phone. I parked where the receptionist (Oscar) advised, free on-street parking but a brisk 5-min walk away.

Amazing few days, we had a lovely time walking the streets around Mons.

Rooms were spotlessly clean, so spacious, bed comfortable, bathroom immaculately clean, plenty of hot water. The use of a small kitchenette in the room was an added bonus. The hotel is so close to the centre of Mons, less than 15 minute walk to train station, 10-20 minute walk to museums. Plenty of restaurant choices close by, very reasonably priced. The manager who checked us in was so professional & friendly. Plenty of parking around the hotel & very reasonably priced, can download an app & use to top up times for parking if not out & about using a car, which we did use very effectively.

Asked for baby cot which was provided. The mattress was filthy and old. You wouldn’t provide a mattress like that for an adult, so why for a baby?

Just a splendid little apartment with a beautiful garden patio in the courtyard and a nice sitting area (with games for kids), and location so near the heart of Mons! Our host, Baron, was very helpful in checking in, too. A great find!

A very good and pleasant stay in the heart of Mons.

Aparthotel St Georges is well situated, in easy walking distance of the Grand Place which is the beating heart of the city. The apartment was comfortable and the breakfast excellent.

There was no lock on the bathroom - not a problem if you’re a family, but we were a group of friends, so we had to whistle!

Bikers review of hotel Saint George

Very friendly manager, who let us park our motorbikes in the garden, after riding through the property. Central location a couple of minutes walk to the centre. Comfy beds, spacious room.

Only a minor inconvenience but couldn't get the coffee machine to work but otherwise an excellent stay.
