Glamorous room in a magnificent spot, don’t miss it!

This is in such a great location! And such a fabulous stay! We had travelled quite a way by motorcycle that day, and although we missed it on arrival first time around the block, as our satnav wanted us to go to the rear of the building, the property was clearly named on the gate and we found it no problem. Serge’s instructions were super detailed and completely accurate. Key codes for gates, key box for room, instructions to find the suite - all spot on. He is a very responsive and helpful host. Perfect secure parking for the bike too. Really comfortable bed, excellent shower and quiet location. Lovely shared kitchen amenity. A special thanks for the restaurant recommendations too - Roberto’s for supper was superb and the patisserie down the road supplied the most wonderful breakfast pastries.

I think the only thing which could be improved and would give a total wow factor would be a quick tidy up of the main entrance hall. I did briefly wonder if we’d accidentally walked into the wrong house due to all the packaging boxes in the hall. Then I saw the visitor’s book and knew we were in the right building!

Charming, quiet retreat in the heart of Mons with secure parking

Best location in Mons that offers secure parking free on the property. The lovely old property is being lovingly restored and is comfortable and very clean. It was very quiet as well. Serge, the host, met us briefly by chance and was quite personable.

The directions for locating the key to access the room should make it clear that the key box is located on the brick wall that is on the outside facing the front door. There was a big trailer obscuring the boxes and we were lucky someone inside helped us. Then we helped the next guests checking in who were as confused as we were.

Central but peaceful heaven

the beauty of the premises, the house is gorgeous. free parking in the city. spacious room with loads of windows, making it really bright. huge TV and fire place, free coffee/tea in the room. walk-in closet & big shower. very big bed and couple of sofas to chill-out in room. fully equipped, shared kitchen on the floor.

nothing :o) but if I have to be picky: the height of the bed (quite difficult to get on it), the softness of the mattress and the relatively narrow space between the sink and the wall in the bathroom.

Intriguing interior, like an hommage to a secret rooms in a palace, talking about the comfort is very nice and practical: parking downstairs, kitchen is nice, location is very good. Bed is like a cloud, definitely a highlight

Really great place! Room was delightful, so comfy. Huge bed & lots o sitting areas. Serge, the owner was so nice.

Beautify , spacious room. Interesting bathroom. Hidden behind the large walls. Kitchen was also a bonus. Could make our own breakfast at our leisure. Fantastic location! Very quiet. Wonderful to have parking.

Great place to stay in Mons

Absolutely helpful and supportive host (greetings, Serge!!!). Location is really convenient, no traffic noise. Premises - absolutely clean. Bed. Oh, that bed is not only king size, but also king comfortable and soft like a cloud. Kitchen is brand new furnished with all equipment you might need for your cuisine mastership. All in all, I would definitely recommend it for all, who travel to Mons.

Toilet is on one side of the room and the bathroom - on the other. So, to wash your hands after toilet, you have to "travel" too much. A very strong wind was howling one night, and roofing tin was clattering like hell.

Le matelas bcp bcp trop mou et inconfortable. La douche pas assez chaude. Mais surtout le matelas. C'est vraiment l élément central de la chambre et ça n'allait vraiment pas désolé

La chambre est magnifique, et l'ambiance de Noël dans le hall etait féerique. L'emplacement est idéal pour parcourir Mons sans prendre la voiture et sans marcher des kilomètres.

Geweldig rustige plek om eens heerlijk uit te slapen

Dit is de tweede keer dat we hier komen en het blijft geweldig. Heel rustige kamer en stijlvol ingericht. Uitstekende bedden voor rustige nachten en de keuken staat volledig ter uwer beschikking. Een uitstekende plek om de mooie stad Mons te bezoeken. Een aanrader.

Tout simplement parfait...

Tout était parfait ! La literie trés bonne, la déco magnifique et avec beaucoup de gouts, et la maison dispose d’une cuisine commune très bien équipée, où l’on peut se préparer un bon petit déjeuner ou même des repas si on le souhaite. L’emplacement est idéal, en plein centre-ville de Mons, avec un parking sécurisé pour la voiture. Notre hôte Serge est d’une gentillesse extraordinaire et très arrangeant. Vraiment, je recommande ce lieu sans hésiter !
