Not recommended and I will not book again there.

Location is near public transportation nd restaurants.

Hearing was not working. Not able to maintain a constant temperature in the room. Staff didn’t know how to resolve the issue during the night shift. Not technician availability during the evening/night shift. Hot water not at adequate temperature. Staff promising to change room but not delivering on their promise.

Okay, but could have been better.

Good location. Lovely helpful staff member checked us in at midnight after a nightmare journey. Happy with room.

Would have liked some air con in the room as it was so hot. Went down to breakfast a little later than usual due to getting there so late the night before, and there wasn't much left to eat (even though there was still an hour until the end of breakfast). Also, the very little amount of 'hot food' was cold. We weren't impressed.

The Angel of Mons

Apart from the view of Mons futuristic train station from my 6th floor refurbished room, this could have been a B&B Hotel anywhere in Europe. But I guess that's the point, the quality standard of the brand. What though really stood out for me was how the hotel didn't just pay lip service to the environment, but had actually taken a positive action - you could say you didn't want your room cleaned/your towels washed (so unnecessary for 2 nights) and in return you got free drink or free snack from hotel shop.

Super clean and modern hotel in a great location directly opposite the railway station and only a 10 minute walk to the Grand Place. Parking is private, safe and right at the back of the hotel. Bed was super comfortable and the reception team extremely friendly and helpful. I had to move rooms due to a problem with my shower (read comments below) and they arranged this for me.

Shower in room 610 kept running cold after only a few seconds. The pipes also made a horrid groaning sound. I moved into 605 and the shower was bettter; however still ran cold after only a few minutes. There didn't seem to be any way to manually alter the temperature in my bedroom. Breakfast options; especially the hot dishes could be more varied. Quality was good though. Rooms were super clean, having just been redecorated; they did look rather clinical though.

Location is good, room view was good. Clean and tidy. Staff very helpful.

Getting to the ibis was a challenge, on going roadworks a nightmare, would of booked elsewhere but hotel failed to tell us until a few days before. Local police officers failed how to get us there!!!

Mons lovely accommodation and service from staff

Gated/safe parking. Room was clean and comfortable and large. Buffet breakfast was tasty and there were lots of options to eat. Staff were really helpful, had a map to enable us to walk to the centre of Mons for a meal (about 10-15 minutes) which was really lovely (once we had passed the road works - they are laying cobbles/stones)

Noisy - during the night a door/loud bang woke us a couple of times. Getting to the hotel due to road works was a nightmare, instructions not clear enough. Maps provided but don't really show which road is which and how to get back when you have gone wrong! All one way streets. Red signs stop half way to the hotel. Will be much better when roadworks/new station complete.

Really good overnight stop off . Not the hotels fault but the road closures made it almost impossible to get to even with the info the sent about it.

Ideal for the last day of our trip, all clean and tidy. kudos to the guy on reception at check in!

A very zen reception area, lovely chap on reception, also very calm and efficient. A fresh looking room with BBC TV to catch up on what's happening back home, and some entertainment in English. Breakfast options were great! freshly squeezed orange juice was a real pleasure at 06:30.

Road works had closed off the entrance to hotel so it was a real fanny to find a way into the grounds. some prior notice would had have been helpful.

Difficult to get to. Long standing roadworks blocked the easy route. Had to use a small road and go the wrong way off a roundabout and one way road to reach the hotel.

Superb staff

The location is good and very clean The staff is superb especially Mr. Roman, the receptionist. We had problem with booking seat with Flixbus. He helped us till we got the seat. We are very appreciated with his kind assitance.

Big rooms, bed quality. Location close to city center and train station. However, during my stay in May 2023, there are many construction works on roads and therefore not so comfortable. Staff was very friendly. The idea, that you can opt out from daily room service and obtain one voucher on one drink per day, is interesting. I appreciate it very much.

Too noisy rooms. You can hear almost everything from many rooms around you and from the hall. The price for the room is quite high for the three star hotel.

if driving, need to be aware that the access route to the hotel is closed and diversions are in place. Quite tricky to navigate the alternative route. This is due to extensive road works, so is only a temporary problem but made trying to get to the car park difficult!
