Kettle House B&B

We stayed at Kettle House for a three night stay. Absolutely gorgeous place! Beautiful gardens with enough seating for all guests. Lovely room with great amenities available including a small bottle of fresh milk in the fridge on arrival. Excellent breakfast options that you order the night before. It wouldn't be financially viable to offer a buffet breakfast as there are only four rooms available. Plenty of options to suit all tastes. Hosts were lovely and inviting. All in all, a fabulous place to stay especially if visiting Lock Ness or fancy a day trip to Skye.

Nothing! The only thing that some guests would need to be aware of are the steps. In our lovely room, we had steps up from the bedroom to the bathroom. If you have mobility issues, this may need to be a consideration. The steps are shallow and not steep. Absolutely did not detract from our enjoyment.

Nothing not to dislike

Situated in a quiet location, beautiful garden to explore, lovely breakfast room and nice breakfast. Room was compact but comfortable and good step in shower. Room had kettle tea/coffee and some home made muffins to welcome us. Bonus was a mini fridge in the room. Bed was very comfortable. Lots of parking and easy to find. Natalie was a lovely host. Loved that my room had two opening windows. Great location and loved Fort Augustus.

Lots of stairs up to the top floor. However, the room was lovely. You need a car to drive into town but only 5 mins max (if swing bridge isn’t opening)
