Good comfortable room.
Green light above bedroom door intrusive. Was it to see door incase of fire but no other accommodation has this that I’ve come across.

Location
Rooms are small for one person but they would be cramped with two.

Great location with canal view Big room. Nice bathroom. Food and drink nearby
Felt like a pre fabricated building so there was noise and vibration through the nice when a lorry passed by as it is next to the road. Not too big a deal though

Location was good and it was a decent pitstop between Isle of Skye and Edinburgh.
The late check in was rough but what made it worst was that our room wasn't clean at check in time. When we got there, the previous people's towels were there, bedding wasn't done, trash wasn't taken out. The gentleman who helps clean was around, so he did do his best to clean up, but after a 3hr drive and an hour waiting in the car, this was just not what we expected. We left to get dinner to give him some time to clean. When we came back it was better but not fully cleaned I'd say. The bed was also very uncomfortable, almost like the frame underbelly was broken or something.

Great location and great find in the heart of Fort Augustus. Literally cross the road to the locks for you to watch the boats going up and down the canal. Cafes for breakfast a minute away, local pubs for dinner a minute away. Staff on site for cleaning were lovely and super friendly.
No on site parking, but we were given directions to some parking that was only 3 minutes away and perfectly fine for our needs

This was a beautiful property located right near the canal in the middle of a wonderful town with food and shops all around. The locals were very friendly. We had an absolutely delightful time here. We had flown and traveled almost 40 hours to get here and it was a welcome reprieve from our journey!

Definitely get what you pay for and a lot more. The property had a safe entry system, easy to check in with codes on the door, property entrance and in the room was spotless, everything felt new, the room was so spacious for 3 friends sharing, loads of tea, coffee and biscuits which didn't last long! There was even a fridge in the room so the food we had with us didn't go to waste. The bathroom was clean, warm and it was lovely to see the envrionmentally friendly things going on in the room, for example when the window was open, the radiator switched off. Lovely large shower. For what we paid, I was not expecting this, extremely great value for money. Great location, we had a lovely view of the River although we weren't in the room for long, I could've stayed in room for a few days with no issues. This is my 2nd visit here, in a different room and I'd definitely book again.
Nothing really...

Location is great for the bus stop as well as the shops and cafes. Modern rooms with modern facilities and decor.
Very late check in so could do with being earlier like other places. Chef was away so no hot food in cafe downstairs so had to go across the lock to another place. Stayed in one of the balcony rooms but the balcony is in the wrong place (it overlooks the road) WiFi was non existent, it was actually better to use phone data so this could be improved (there was a guest WiFi but we were told it wasn’t active so just had to use the general free WiFi)

Fantastic location in the centre of town, minutes walk from shops, pubs, restaurants and Loch Ness with views over the locks. Very clean and modern large room with added bonus of a small terrace. We arrived early and met a very friendly helpful male member of the cleaning team. Easy access to the room using the keycode. Dog friendly. Would recommend staying here.

The location was great and the rooms were clean. There was tea and coffee in the rooms.
View from twin room over the loch gates was lovely
Stairs up to the first floor were quite steep.
Twin beds were quite narrow.
View of the gully from double room was not inspiring!
Loading the car on check out was tricky as the lorry was parked opposite unloading it's wares for the shop so even when we briefly parked half on the pavement we blocked the road.

We stayed in the Nessie room and it was beautiful!
Room overlooked the river and was very clean and tidy and had plenty of space for 4 of us with luggage
Room had lots of tea and coffee and was very close to the supermarket
Location was perfect with the river on one side and canal on the other and Loch Ness a very short walk from the accommodation

Almost everything, good quality stuff there. Fab bathroom, enjoyed the balcony.
There was no clock. Also, no microwave - as breakfast wasn't included, it would have been handy, as the breakfast place mentioned didn't open till 9. So we were quite disappointed there

Lovely room in a great location. Self check-in was straight-forward. Very clean, nice decor and well stocked with tea, coffee and biscuits!
Slightly disappointed when we went down to the cafe for breakfast to discover that the kitchen was closed. Fortunately there are other good cafes close by.

Brodie's products for hot drinks and Walkers shortbread. Well done
Clean, comfortable and fresh room including great open storage and small fridge.
Balcony is good, used our own blankets to make the chairs more comfortable.
Easy self check in on-line and received easy to use code for secure main door entry and separate code for key safe next to room door 😀

Right at the bridge in town , perfect location , cafe downstairs

The location was great! Not only in the town itself, but in the context of a road trip when you are going to or just visited Loch Ness. The self check in is easy if you are into the digital world, there is a cafe and a shop in the same property with good food and service. Free parking nearby and a beautiful view of the canal :)
Somewhat expensive

Central location with nearby parking. Spacious modern room with an excellent shower and comfortable beds. Plenty of storage. Very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room overlooked the canal so lovely to watch the boats and yachts.

We only stayed in Fort Augustus 1 night at the end of our holiday. This was a family room with large bathroom situated above the canal centre which was ideal for a walk around the village or to explore the canal. It was also a matter of yards from the Loch Ness boat tours. We thought we might suffer from road/neighbour noise but this was not the case. There was a fridge, tea/coffee, cups, bowls etc but be aware there are no cooking facilities There is a bike storage area in the apartment block ideal for the Great Glen route.

Very clean comfortable room. Had everything we needed.
The room was very hot! A fan was provided but didn’t help much 😩

Room was over heated and very uncomfortable. Walls very thin so noise from other rooms. Value for money very poor

I loved the location along the canal and a short walk to Loch Ness. Beds comfortable! Powerful showers with warm water. Beautiful surroundings! The housekeeper was super friendly and informative.
We arrived around 6 pm and not too many restaurants open! Everything else was great!

We did not like a (useless in our view) bathtub inside the room (outwith the shower room). As the room is tight this space could be used for 2 lounge chairs & a table to make it more comfy.
The balcony is fab though.
The room overlooks the main street & the canal, so traffic noise starts at
06.30 hrs.
Brilliant cleaning staff who brought a 2nd chair for the room as nowhere to sit but on the bed.
Many stairs to climb if you have heavy luggage.
Would highly recommend.
The mattress is not comfy enough = too hard/worn out.

Location seemed new - quiet
Bright green light on ceiling with no way to turn it off. No on site parking.

Although a brilliant location it was a little bit pricy

Easy access for check in and out. Room was clean and efficient. Bathroom was nice. Loved hearing the water from the canal. Right in the middle of the little town, walking distance to food and shops.
Had an extra bed setup to make the room for 3 people. The extra bed was very comfortable.

Good communication before we arrived and our room was ready earlier than we expected. It was a great location for one night and we enjoyed sitting on the balcony. Nice cafe underneath if you do want to have breakfast. The bed was comfortable, shower was good and the towels were fluffy!
We were in the room with the balcony and could hear the road noise. If you’re a light sleeper perhaps avoid this room. Also the carpet was absolutely covered with dog hairs (apart from this the room was clean though). The carpet needs a really good deep clean to remove this - I’m sure the room is hoovered daily but it’s not enough.

Room was clean and easy to find. All instructions were clear. We appreciated the kettle and mini-fridge. The room had a great view and we were able to find parking.
