Great location, nicely decorated rooms with super-comfy four-poster bed. Didn’t use the jacuzzi bath but shower was terrific. Good breakfast choices served by friendly and accommodating host.
Our friends in adjacent building had issues with the central heating and didn’t sleep well as room was very warm.

The bed is super comfy, and the Jakuzzi bath most welcome after a long hike.
Great location, Walking distance to shops and restaurants. We stayed here one night two years ago, and were happy so booked again.
We had no contact with Alasdair.
The drawers when opened, struggled to close again.
The tea, coffee and milk wasn't replenished during our stay, we had to go to the local shop to buy some with being there for 3 days which we didn't mind, however our milk went off after one day due to the heating in the room
The room needs a small fridge if you have to buy your own milk, and to chill water and wine.
Even if you had the option to hire one.
