Fabulous from start to finish

A lovely B&B in a peaceful and outstanding location. We enjoyed everything about our stay here. From the friendly welcome on arrival to the fabulous made to order cooked breakfast in the morning. Would highly recommend and definitely stay here again 😀

Wished we booked more than one night.

Host was wonderful, welcoming and helpful. The location was perfect for walking around town. Having the private bath across the hall was not an issue what so ever. Breakfast was a fresh change of pace. Quiet, even though being in the heart of town.

Wonderful B+B

Warm welcome and such a friendly atmosphere. Room we stayed in fantastic, plenty of beverage variety and everything thought of what you would need. Great to be able to help yourself to fresh milk from the fridge in the breakfast room if needed. Oh my goodness the breakfast was absolutely delicious and what a lovely view from the breakfast room. Highly recommend Lorien House for your stay, a home away from home. We will definitely stay here again, next we are this way.

Very friendly hosts. Lorien B&B is in a great location, with easy access to Loch Ness and many places of interest. The rooms were comfortable with private bathroom. Nice choice of complimentary hot drinks and biscuits. Highly recommended!

Friendly couple at a well-run quiet B&B minutes from the canal. Good breakfast. Make sure you book The Boathouse for dinner in advance.

Spotlessly clean accommodation with Tom and Linn being the most friendly and helpful hosts. Had a wonderful one night stay as part of our wee road trip up north. Found some amazing spots for photography thanks to Linns local knowledge. Definitely recommend.

100% to attention to detail. The cleanest and best appointed cosy and comfortable establishment we have ever stayed in! Delicious breakfast with a wide variety of both hot and cold choices including traditional Scottish options and a selection of Scottish branded marmalades that provides you with your personal marmalade tasting. Perfect location overlooking the Loch too.

Lorien B&B was the cutest and coziest little place. It’s in the perfect location and offers such a homey and welcoming stay. Lin and Tom have put effort into not only the necessities, but also in the small details. They are friendly, thoughtful, and so charming! We’d absolutely book again!

Just perfect!

Everything was just great! The B&B is located in the centre of Fort Augustus but still very quiet. The whole house is a feast for the eyes, everything is nicely furnished, everything in our room was also very harmonious. Our hosts were very kind, cared about staying there safely (Covid-wise), had tips for our onward travel, lots of information about Ft. Augustus, places to eat etc. and we really laughed a lot. Breakfast was great and there was lots to choose from. So we would definitely stay Lorien House again.
