Amazing modern apartment close to old city and port

Very spacious apartment on 2nd floor with massive windows overlooking the Port of Genoa. Beautifullly decorated and has air conditioning, washing machine, usb chargers, chromecast, toiletries, lovely art throughout and even fresh flowers in each bedroom. Two bedrooms and two sofa beds also. We spent hours just sitting in the window seats watching all the activity around the port. Giuseppe, the owner, was very kind and offered us early check in and late check out. He has excellent English and recommended some places to visit and to eat and visit. He was also available on WhatsApp if we’d any questions. There is a porter in the lobby until 6pm each day. Two minutes walk to the aquarium, The Galleon, Bigo lift, Eataly and Metro station. Five minutes walk to Molo district and Maratime Museum and a playground.

Nothing. I would highly recommend this apartment for families, couples or a small group.

All together a very comfortable stay

The apartment was very clean nice and warm and had a good view over the aquarium area of the town. our host was patient and spoke good English. He recommended good places to visit and eat.

Spacious apartment that suited our needs perfectly, fitted with all amenities, our children loved the windows watching Genoa

Vagrants close to the apartment hanging around all day, they didn't bother us too much but they cast a shadow over the location

I wish I had more to stay and enjoy.

Giuseppe was waiting when we arrived at the front of the property and promptly introduced himself. He escorted us inside and proceeded to show us around and explain the location of local attractions. The location of the apartment was great, it was modern with all the necessary amenities, heating worked great. I give this place 11 out of ten, I wish we had more time to stay and enjoy.

Excellent view.

Very spacious appartement and we do enjoyed our stay in Genoa. Our favourite part is the view to the port from the rooms with the big windows and we can sit on the cushion watching outside. Our children like it very much.

Great stay!

The place is amazing and can suit families with 2-3 kids or companies of 5-6 friends. The kitchen is well equipped, even the PS4 is there. The rooms are clean and spacious.

We had a very nice stay at Casa Sottoripa in a clean and beautiful appartment with a great host.

The host is very nice and always helpful and the flat is big an bright. It is directly a the porto antico and close to public transportation. It was clean and the best thing was the air conditioning because it was very hot during our stay.

It would be nice if the bathroom door had a key for a bit of privacy. There also was a little bit of mold in the shower, not much but mentionable.

Really big and comfortable apartment

The apartment was spacious and really clean. We even got each a towel. Also the host Guiseppe was really nice and gave us a lot of information about Genoa and the best beaches around. Parking is not far from the apartment.

The neighborhood was pretty loud.

This was our first trip to Genoa and we were delighted with our choice of apartment.

This is a well equipped and spacious apartment in an excellent location close to the old town. It is very well situated for public transport and also for the Genoa bus and road train tours. Several of the main tourist sites are within walking distance. There are lots of restaurants and cafes in the area and several supermarkets close by. There was a lot of tourist information in the apartment in several languages. Arrival and departure were made very easy by our host.

Exceptional

Nice modern appartment located few hundred meters from Aquarium and within walking distance from historic center. Giusseppe (host) give us a lot of explanation, information and tips. If you come by car you can park in the Port Antico and get a discount card from this apparment. Spacious rooms and enough beds and peivacy for family. There were also games, guides, maps of Genoa. Close to supermarket.

Airconditioning was present but did not function completely. Apparently there is still some works to finish.

Bell'appartamento nel Porto Antico

L'appartamento è centralissimo, a pochi minuti a piedi da tutto (ristoranti, negozi, bar, mercato, centro storico). E' ampio, luminoso ed arredato con gusto.. La cucina è grande e ben attrezzata, il bagno è ampio e pulitissimo. WiFi veloce e costante. Il nostro host, Giuseppe, gentile, disponibile e professionale.

La casa comoda e spaziosa

Posizione è molto comoda è praticamente davanti l'acquario, città dei bambini e c.c. La casa è spaziosa, le finestre ben protetti che non si sente rumore da fuori, i letti grandi e sono comodi . Appartamento è comodissimo soprattutto a chi viene visitare la città con i bimbi.

Mancava la tazza adatta per piano cottura induzione per scaldare il latte per il bimbo. Il bidet non c'era e il tubo-docia che era vicino al water poco flessibile e duro che lo rende praticamente inutilizzabile.

Buena ubicación, súper bien cuidado y confortable.

Bien ubicado. Amplios espacios, muy limpio, confortable y agradable. Muy bien cuidado y con muchos detalles que hacen la estancia muy acogedora. Giuseppe pendiente desde antes de nuestra llegada y durante toda nuestra estancia.

Quizá el único detalle es que el edificio está un poco descuidado y cuando entramos nos espantamos un poco porque no lucía muy bien, pero una vez cruzando la puerta del departamento, respiramos tranquilos.

Optimaler Standort. Ideal für Familien.

Trotz der sehr guten zentralen Lage direkt am Hafen war die Unterkunft sehr ruhig in der Wohnung. Viele nette kleine Lokale und Stände in der Nähe. Lebensmittelladen direkt hinter der Wohnung( wird auch von Einheimischen genutzt) Die alte Altstadt die Autofrei ist schließt direkt an die Wohnung an. Es empfielt sich grundsätzlich das Auto stehen zu lassen und auf Öffentliche / oder Hop on/Off Bussen umzusteigen( Tickets gelten Mind. 24h) so kann man zwischen der City Tour und der Küsten Tour hin und her switchen und erreicht alles sicher.

Arredata con gusto, c’era tutto il necessario. Casa molto funzionale e a pochi passi dal centro. Al mattino in 5 minuti sei a Palazzo Ducale e la sera puoi scegliere tra mille ristoranti nei vicoli/piazzette. Abbiamo “vissuto” in mezzo ai genovesi: bellissimo.
