Responsive host, clean and spacious room, great location in the old town and near the aquarium and maritime museum and plenty of good restaurants.

The was the cutest little place to stay for our overnight before boarding a cruise ship. The location was perfectly located right in the city & close to many places for eating, getting a drink, shopping or just walking the city and exploring all the charm of Genoa! Simona was the sweetest and so helpful with offering great sites to see & places to eat/drink. Very accommodating and eased all our worries with getting to the city from the airport & finding the guest room. Hoping to return for another visit very soon!!

Though not in the prettiest neighborhood -- Genova is a typical port city and that part of town has a certain roughness to it -- its location is very convenient as it's both near the aquarium and public transport and a taxi stand to get to the train station or the airport or elsewhere but also within walkable distance to the historic city center and its many restaurants, shops, and rich cultural offerings. The guest house is basically an apartment located in a nondescript building but the rooms themselves are pleasant and spacious, and very clean and well appointed. And the local hostess was most helpful and generous. I stayed there a week in October 2025.

The hotel room was clean and comfortable. The Guest House is on the 9th floor of a building near the aquarium (excellent location!) and the owner sent photos to us to show us how to find the Guest house and access the building, which was so helpful. We'd definitely recommend this guest house!

Big surprise of a modest place. The host Simona recieved us three hours before check-in. The place is very hidden, but then safe. And the information very good. Comfortable beds, a bit leaky shower, but no problem. Suiteded in the middle of everywhere.

Simona was fabulous! The holiday flat had everything we needed and was surprisingly quiet given its central location. Being so close to the old port was great - can highly recommend!

Very good place to stay. Clean room and bathroom. Central to all the main tourist spots, marina or main train station (if you want to travel or exploreb further). Cheap taxi ride to the airport too. Hostes was kind and helpful.

This property is located in the wharf/old town. When you get out of the building you will be across the aquarium. Walkable to many tourist places. Plenty of restaurants around. Our room was very clean. The coffee machine is in a common living room shared with 3 other rooms. Simona our host is amazing- she’s like a long lost cousin welcoming you in her home. Wish I could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

Simona made check in really easy to organise and gave us loads of tips about where to eat and what to see, as well as answering all our questions about how to get around Genoa and along the coast. She was so friendly and helpful. Great location for the old port and old town, but still quiet in the room.

Simone is amazing! She’s very kind, welcoming, and a lovely soul. She’s like your old friend you haven’t seen in years. She waited for us even when we come a bit later than the usual check in time. The room is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Perfect for your base in Genova. The location is very central. 4mins from Metro and close to the water. You can walk everywhere in Genova old town from here. She also gives the best recommendations for restaurants nearby.

Simona is a wonderful host. Guest house was very clean, well kept with good facilities right in the heart of the port area in Genoa. Her help with our parking, where to eat and what to visit was all brilliant. She was very kind even though we arrived later than we had expected and made us feel very special and welcome. A fantastic host with a lovely apartment. Prior to arrival, received all necessary information by whatsapp. We were really pleased by the decor and feel of the common area and there is a kitchenette with tea and coffee available. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable, excellent pillows! The bathroom is an accessible wet room style. In and around the area the shops, restaurants and attractions are easily reached on foot. Parking in the port garage was 21eur overnight.

Wonderful hotel! My husband and I stayed at So & Leo's for two nights. The room was beautifully appointed and spacious. Adjoining bathroom had an excellent shower, plenty of towels and supplies. Coffee and biscuits available in the common area. Our hostess, Siminoa (So) was so gracious, friendly and fun. She allowed us to check-in early and to store our bags on the afternoon of our last day. The guest house is centrally located across from the old harbor, with easy access to restaurants, outdoor cafes, & shops. The heart of the old city is but steps away. Highly, highly recommend.
