Though not in the prettiest neighborhood -- Genova is a typical port city and that part of town has a certain roughness to it -- its location is very convenient as it's both near the aquarium and public transport and a taxi stand to get to the train station or the airport or elsewhere but also within walkable distance to the historic city center and its many restaurants, shops, and rich cultural offerings. The guest house is basically an apartment located in a nondescript building but the rooms themselves are pleasant and spacious, and very clean and well appointed. And the local hostess was most helpful and generous. I stayed there a week in October 2025.

Property located in old area of city but plenty of restaurants and shops Simone the manager is pretty attentive gave us tips for places to visit

This was the perfect place for a stay in Genoa. For us, the best part was Simona, the owner. What a lovely woman. We fell in love with her !!
