The location was good, 10 mins from Piazza Principe station and the same distance from Via Garibaldi. The apartment was very spacious. It was in a multi-use former palace and the rooms were terrazzo-floored with high ceilings. Although this meant that it did not have a cosy feel, the heating was ok and we soon got comfortable with it. I imagine it would be ideal in the summer. There was a comfortable seating space and a fairly well equipped kitchenette.
The shower is quite small, has only an overhead setting and the water pressure is not great.

The location was top, the building was beautiful, with the large hall made with marble. The apartment itself was large and spacious, with a recently fitted shower room, well kept.
Unfortunately the apartment had a terrible smell, which didn't go away, even after keeping the windows open for a couple of hours. It was a fishy type of smell, which made the night very uncomfortable.
Minor negative comments would be on the general feel of the apartment that felt quite tired, it could do with more maintenance for that price.

Location
We were led to be no stairs to get to apartment. You could go on elevator then 3 small flight of stairs down to apartment OR 2 flights of stairs up to apartment. Electrical plugs were outdated & seemed unsafe. Poor lighting in living & bedroom areas. No storage in bathroom nor bedrooms.

Superb, central location, just minutes from the harbour, restaurants and station etc. Lots of space and very good air conditioning.
Shower needs fixing - just a very large dribble.

Large and comfortable apartment with stunning view. The building inside is amazing, just like museum. Comfortable, clean and a well prepared kitchen. Location was great - only a few steps from Porto Antico and old town, many shops and restaurants.

We were greeted and escorted to a private parking spot right next to the building. The apartment is located in an impressive building in the heart of this extraordinary underrated city. I wish we could have stayed longer.

The room was really spacious, in a very nice building right on the edge of the old city. Check-in was easy, and it was nice that daily room cleaning was available, but also easy to decline.
We're kind of picky about mattresses, and while the bed was perfectly decent, it was a little hard on my back. Not enough to run the experience, though. I would stay here again.

The host was very accommodating. Our flight was delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night...no problem for the host. We checked in as normal. Very beautiful apartment. High ceilings. It was like staying in a museum.

The apartment is located in a great location! Parking was available with an extra cost but was right under the apartment which was very convenient. The apartment itself was very clean, quiet, with comfortable beds and a nice design. The staff was really friendly and helpful!
I didn't notice if it is written or not but there are quite a few stairs to reach the apartment.

- Location close to the center in a historic villa with great architecture.
- Large, spacious rooms with very high ceilings.
- Easy access to the city.
- The floors were extra dirty. You couldn't walk barefoot. I threw away all the socks.
- In the bathroom we found the cheapest products from Metro. Aro soap and shower gel.
- The bathroom door had a broken hinge and could not be closed.
- The 2 TVs, 20 years old, didn't have cable, so they were for decoration.
- For 3 nights / 2 people we got 3 capsules for the coffee machine and 2 tea bags.
- Very old and worn furniture

Location is perfect. A few steps from the cathedral, old port and old town. The building inside is like museum.
No internet! Absolutely! Asked a host to help, he tried to fix it, but then apologized and gone.

Location, clean, large apartment and low price for the location.
Main bed not comfortable, pillows so flat it made sleeping difficult, certain things needed repair (vent on bathroom door fell off when closing door, bathroom door didn't close properly), very bare bones in terms of amenities (no paper towels, extra trash bags, no broom to sweep up a mess left by kids, no detergent available to use laundry machine).

very beautiful and spacious. the ceiling height was amazing! healthy indoor air (no mold or dust). Garage in the city center is perfect but not very suitable for a big car unless you have expert skills

5 minute walk to the harbour, express supermarket 2 minute walks, 5 minute walk to principle train station to get the volabus to and from the airport, coffee shop on doorstop, just a perfect location and very nice building

Very nice authentic apartment in relatively safe location of Genova. As many reviewers mentioned before, some pieces of furniture are rather old, but not broken, the bed was comfortable. Light, kitchen devices, boiler in the bathroom -- everything is working. I've chosen this apartment mostly because of the wonderful view and didn't regret.

Amazing location. Nice staff with good English. Parking. Good wi-fi. Well equipped kitchen
worn out furniture. shower stall leaking. in general, a lot of reviews write about the historical building, it is certainly beautiful, but the repair in the hotel itself is quite cheap and already worn out. not very clean. cold floor. in general, the living room and bathroom were quite cool, the thermostats were not working, although the bedroom warmed up perfectly. the room was on the second floor without an elevator, so not very convenient for people with a stroller. upon check-in, we were warned that there would be an event downstairs in the evening and it would be a little noisy, but in the end it was very loud and until late

Very spacious, spotless property located in the centre of Genua within easy walking distance to many attractions. The apartment is very spacious and had everything we needed for a couple days of city sightseeing. My son very much enjoyed looking out onto the square and watching all the busses and cars going bye.

Very courteous host and an excellent location in an absolutely stunning building. Well positioned for people who want to be close to the main station but would like to be just a few steps from major sights like Via Girabaldi. The location is very quiet at night and getting the keys and checking in was easy. Bathroom facilities were great, basics like coffee and tea were provided, and linens and the bathroom were spotless.
There is a fee of €15 for late check-in (after 8 pm) which is fair but worth noting. The couch had a suspicious stain that was a little gross. Starting at about 8:30 a.m. the upstairs neighbours were quite loud with every footstep echoing loudly in the bedroom below. The location of the second bed, between two doors in the living room, makes it a bit hard to sleep comfortably. None of these are deal breakers for us as we selected for the location.

the spacious apartment and the location
the apartment is spacious, but the bed , curtains, chairs etc , everything is old and looks used. it could be a lovely apartment if the owner gives more attention to the interior.
