Worst-managed property I have ever stayed in – a lesson in how to make guests feel unwelcome
City, Genua, not the apartment
I am writing this review in the hope that the real owner of the apartment will find out how their property is being managed, and also so potential guests know exactly what standard to expect.
Communication with the management company is frustrating. They only contact you in situations where every sentence ends with: "if not, an extra fee will be charged".
It starts with an extremely long and intrusive online check-in – entering all addresses, ID numbers, uploading ID photos, and even a selfie. For my group of 6 people, this took almost an hour. Then, despite providing all that information, you are asked for the same details again, such as your arrival time. I was asked for our arrival time three separate times, supposedly “to help us get into the apartment.” That was not true. It became almost clear that the company uses this information to sell extra hours in the apartment to previous guests for €30 total if they check out by 12:00 instead of the standard time. How do I know? Because when I said we would arrive at 22:30, they did not care how we were traveling, how we would get there, or if we needed directions – only the time. And this was a self check-in, so no one was actually waiting for us.
Despite the mandatory online self check-in, within 24 hours we were told we had to go to their office in person and show all ID documents again. Only after my firm intervention was I exempted from doing this.
The apartment has a dishwasher, but don’t count on using it – there is exactly one dishwasher tablet provided. There is also a washing machine, but again – you’ll need to bring your own laundry capsules. For six people staying five days, we were given only two rolls of toilet paper. From the very start, you’re forced to go shopping just to cover basic needs.
If you don’t take the trash out – extra fee. If you don’t close the fridge door completely – extra fee. If you leave the apartment messy – extra fee. If you leave it “disorganized” – extra fee.

Modern apartment in a convenient location
Comfortable clean apartment close to everything.
Collecting keys was a bit tricky as office is in a gated building so we had to wait for someone to pick up the phone and come and let us in. Took a couple of phone calls and several text messages to coordinate.

Excellent séjour au coeur de Gênes
Très bien situé dans le centre de Gênes, proche du port et des lieux de visite. Propre et calme. Nous avons passé une excellente semaine.
La cuisine séjour suffisait pour deux personnes. Un peu petit si plus nombreux.

Bellissimo appartamento piccolo ma compatto in due siamo state benissimo ambiente familiare, unica cosa in bagno perdeva un tufo dalla caldaia quando veniva fatta la lavatrice e la doccia ma per il resto tutto bene , lavandino piccino , la lavastoviglie mi sembrava scollegata siccome non siamo riuscite ad accenderla . Ma per il resto consiglio questo posto letto comodo bagno e doccia bello

Nettes - Charmantes Appartment mitten in der Altstadt.
Die Lage ist sehr gut in der Altstadt gelegen. Vom Appartment aus kommt man Fußläufig schnell zum Wasser und hat viele Einkaufsmöglichkeiten in naher Umgebung.
Das Badezimmer sollte dringend renoviert werden. Die Abflüsse im Badezimmer sind nicht einwandfrei und müssen überprüft werden. Genauso wie die Dusche (dunkle Flecken). Das Putzzeug sollte separat in einem Schrank verstaut werden - es stand viel im Bad oder im Wohnzimmer. Das Badezimmer hat leider Punktabzüge in der Gesamtbewertung gebracht.
Kapseln für die Kaffemaschine wären nett gewesen - mussten selbst gekauft werden.

L'emplacement était très bien, tout est à proximité. Nous avions toutes les informations pratiques et l'appartement était confortable et propre.
Il y avait de gros travaux dans le bâtiment et nous n'étions pas informés. Pas d'explication sur le fonctionnement de la climatisation ni des équipements électroménagers.
