20/10 stay! LOVED IT!

This was the most amazing stay. As soon as we arrived the owners welcomed us down to our room and went through everything in the property and also supplied fruit, yoghurt, fresh bread and home made muesli. We were also upgraded to a gorgeous 2 bedroom with a an amazing garden view. Everything was so nice and clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. We were walking distance or a short drive into town. Anna & Murray also supplied us with a book of everything to do in kerikeri / bay of islands (activities and restaurants). I could go on all day about how amazing our stay here was. I was very sad to have to leave. Recommend this stay 20/10

We did not want to leave

We had a free upgrade to Birdsong Retreat. The accommodation was beautiful, modern, and luxurious. Owners were friendly and welcoming. This was more of a home than any hotel room could be, with comfortable seating, upmarket furnishings, and fabulous bedding. I can't recommend Treghan Luxury Lodge highly enough. It was a wonderful stay.

The host and hostess were fabulous. Very attentive, incredible communicator, friendly, very helpful. The accommodations were the best I have stayed (and I travel a lot!) would love to stay there again. Everything was perfection.

Terrific Treghan Luxury Lodge

Wonderful hosts with thoughtful gestures (homemade muesli, bread, brownies, flowers on the bed). The lodge was immaculate and spacious and peaceful. Easy to access the town and nearby attractions. Gallery on site. Anna was fantastic and assisted us with making reservations at local restaurants despite it being a very busy period.

The exceptionally warm welcome to a well appointed, beautifully furnished and extremely comfortable retreat. super provisions for breakfast and more. Everything has been meticulously thought through to make for a very relaxing stay. Love the thoughtful eco friendly products to use in both the kitchen and bathrooms.

Incredibly relaxing, vegan and pet friendly, great hosts!!

Absolutely perfect in every way! The property is beautifully nestled in the Keri Keri countryside, right next to the centre of Keri Keri town. Tranquility, the house we stayed in, was everything you could want - beautifully decorated, soft and comfy furnishings, super soft robes, modern kitchen amenities and eco friendly products to use. We had such a good night’s sleep in our bed! Not to mention the incredibly thoughtful provisions basket we got given. We are vegan and they put so much thought into everything we got, from delicious hazelnut chocolate, strawberries and fresh fruit, coconut yoghurt and even handmade vegan treats from a local store. We also LOVE Anna and Murray, the property’s owners. They are so kind and considerate, and we’re totally in love with Anna’s amazing pink hair! They also let us bring our little cavoodle Lily and have been so lovely to her, giving her a special chew treat when we arrived. This is our new favourite place to stay in NZ, and I’d dare say in the top five of places we’ve ever stayed globally. We are totally relaxed and can’t wait to come back again soon!

Treghan Lodge was absolutely beautiful, and we had an amazing stay. It was cosy, quiet, private and impeccibly clean and well appointed. Anything you could possibly need has been thought about and provided. Owners Anna and Murray went out of their way to make our stay a wonderful experience - from meeting us on our (very late!) arrival with a torch and having warmed our room; to welcoming us with a hand-written card, and the most beautiful basket of breakfast goodies and snacks ..... oh my goodness those homemade cookies!!! It's all the little extra special details that made Treghan exceptional. We will definitely be back!

Birdsong Retreat is a very spacious 2 bed and 2 bathroom cottage set in a beautiful garden setting. Close enough to town to travel for groceries and dinner at night time. Communication with the host was quick and very efficient. The breakfast basket filled with homemade muesli, fruit etc. was an absolute treat. We are already planning our next trip !

Maybe a smart TV which will enable one to watch Netflix.

Gemütlich eingerichtetes Cottage mit viel Liebe zum Detail. Super sauber und gepflegt mit eigener Terrasse und wunderschönem kleinen privaten Garten. Anna und Murray waren sehr nette Gastgeber, die sich um alle Wünsche gekümmert haben. Es gab auch leckere Frühstückszutaten und eine große Schale frisches Obst - besser geht es nicht.
