Great villa , perfect location, close to all shops and cafes. Staff were great, friendly and kind. A nice villa to stay

We stayed in the Jepun Villa, private pool and two bedrooms with extra large king size beds. The villa is open plan for the sitting area, kitchen and the pool area too. This property was beautiful, it was close to the shops and main shopping area in Seminyak, restaurants, cafes , massage places both high end and cheaper options. The staff were excellent, checking in for room clean and every night they will come in and light incense for mosquitoes. Cleaning service everyday, new towels and water bottles plus making up of the beds every day. They had a water filter in the kitchen to fill up water bottles. There was kitchen with appliances. The bed was one of the most comfortable beds I have slept in. It was private and noise levels were low, you can hear some bustle of cars on Main Street but did not affect our sleep or comfort. The workers are so friendly and kind , and gave advice about car service options. They were always willing to help and were always smiling.

The only thing I didn’t like was the appliances were old , the kettle and the toaster. If you are thinking of making tea or toast they aren’t new. However our meals were all from local cafes and restaurants which are walking distance. So we didn’t use them Other than that everything else was perfect.

Great location but villas need some maintenance

The location was brilliant, right on 'eat street' all we had to do was step out the door and pick somewhere to dine! It was still very peaceful at the villa despite the very central location. The staff were also friendly and helpful, keen to do their best.

The villas themselves were a bit run down and in need of some investment. We had issues with the plumbing, the toilets didn't flush well and would block easily, the water sometimes had an unusual smell to it, the kitchen was quite run down, and the gardens were a bit untidy. It's a huge shame because it has the potential to be such a beautiful place.

Location, staff and the property in general. The bed was very comfortable.

The TV was too small and not smart. AC was OK, just, but may have struggled in hotter season.

Very friendly staff and free fruit provided. The private pool was big and clean, the bedroom was spacious, and there was a large vanity table. Just remember to use mosquito repellent at night due to mosquitoes. Overall, a great stay and would happily return!

The shampoo and body wash in the bathtub area might need to be replaced. They have a bit of an unpleasant smell, possibly because they haven’t been changed for a while or something got into them.

The villa itself was beautiful and spacious, location was also good , staff was very accommodating and professional.

Could not spent time on outside area , living room and dinning room as they were to many mosquitoes, . Bed was hard for us .

I would stay there again if I go back. The restaurants and bars are good and not far from the place.

The property was very well maintained and it was clean. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The swimming pool is great and very private for what you want to do.

The property was good, but the area was difficult to walk around in, particularly the side walks need repair, and watch out for the motor bikes.

Great Location

The Villa is very spacious and having a private pool is fantastic. They are perfectly located in the heart of Seminyak - walking distance to bars, restaurants and shopping and about 15mins walk to the beach. The staff were very helpful and check in was seem less. Overall a great location and a very spacious villa.

The Villas are a little dated and could benefit from some refurbishment, the onsite restaurant was not open so breakfast is delivered from another location and isn’t at its best by the time it arrives. We also experienced issues with low water pressure and a lack of hot water.

Quiet considering its proximity to the main road of Seminyak

Loved the spaciousness of the villas. We had adjoining villas with our adult children. The layout and pool areas were beautiful! Location was excellent!

Absolutely crap

Everything!! This property used to be beautiful well kept, kitchen set up USED to be amazing.. towels, bedding all so old and disgusting! Mattress was disgusting. They don’t fog for mosquitoes anymore so they were terrible. Will never return to these villas again

Needs a lot of work.

The property was located in the heart of Seminyak, fantastic for finding food and general exploring. The pool was nice.

Ok, so I never give bad reviews but, the villas are old, hot water isn’t instant, you have to wait, internet is at best terrible in the villa, the staff do not clean rubbish around the villa unless it’s in the bin. If you ask for something to be delivered to your room, it’s an effort for the staff to do so. The doors don’t seal and the mosquitos are terrible. The bed does have a net, but mosquitos can find a hole in a solid wall to get through if you know what I mean. Unfortunately I will not return.

Great location and friendly staff. Have stayed here before. Large villas. Would stay again.

Pool lights were not on and pumps could be cleaned and updated as they were on and off and not the best but useable. Price has gone up quite a bit for this location and could get similar for less on the same strip. Only actual negative is bathroom outside some villas can have the bathroom in AC

Pool size and cleanliness excellent. daily room service efficient and well done. location for central seminyak is good. Late checkout was excellent 👍

bathroom towels were clean but very worn and grey. noise from bands from 'Kunis backyard'? or others was a bit much at times. uneven and tall steps into pool. no room service for food or alcohol - got deliveries instead. fridge is small and not cold enough. only 2 glasses, 2 plates, 2 knives etc etc. mosquitos - no fogging was done

Private central stay

Easy, friendly check in, staff offered to show villa prior to payment. I was not disappointed, the villa was comfortable and met our needs. Brilliant location to all bar's restaurants and shopping. There is a little restaurant attached to the villa which was not available and closed during our stay. Had that of been available, it would have been great for a meal. Beautiful private villa pool added to our brilliant stay

Simply great for all the senses in your body

Amazing villa with a pool provided great rest and relaxation, plenty of amenities, great and pleasant staff. One night of problem with air con was quickly fixed and they gave us mobile air con unit for that night and a free transfer to the airport to apologize for the short tech problem. We would come back here again in the future.

Beautiful gardens and pool

The Maya is old and tired. I found a big deterioration in service and cleanliness since my last stay which was only 18 months ago. The property is not well maintained and therefore is in need of renovation. Breakfast was cold and tastless.

A wonderful spacious villa in an amazing location

We love the Maya and have stayed multiple times. Villas are traditional style, pools are big and the Villa compound has loads of space, beautiful gardens and traditional furnishings. The location is just a few steps from Eat Street providing easy access to bars, restaurants, shopping, supermarket, Seminyak flea markets and Seminyak Village. You can step out a grab a taxi within a minute or less is you need to travel further afield.

We live the older traditional style so that is not a problem, however it’s time the mattresses were replaced. The only other thing is that since the onsite restaurant/bar has closed, the vibe isn’t as social with the villa staff and with other holiday makers.

Property is a little tired and requires a spruce up. Breakfast was poor, like something you would get at a low cost hotel. Pool and pool tiles needs a thorough clean.

Great location near everything you need.

We stayed in the 2 bedroom villa. It was Definitely a good location right near Eat st. The villa is a bit old but extremely spacious with a fantastic pool.

A few things didn’t work but the manager was quick to fix it.

Great location, large pool villa

It’s in a great location , just a short stroll to the mark road of Seminyak. The 3 bedroom pool villa is huge and great for family and friends. The staff are very attentive and the rooms are clean.

Unfortunately for our stay, the restaurant and bar were closed and we had to preorder and pay extra for breakfast $25 per person/per day as they had to use a local outside restaurant. It was cheaper to eat outside the villa. The place is also looking quite tired and needs some restoration works

A pleasant stay.

The location is excellent. Close to shopping and restaurants. The pool was great and the layout of the villas very nice. Plenty of room and the staff were excellent.

The villa was great but the property needs a little general aesthetics work done. New paint or clean of stone, driveway relaid, new cushion cover in gazebo. The breakfasts due to delivery from outside hotel always required heating in microwave. Would have been great to have the restaurant out front open but it must be owned by someone else.

The location of this property is great. Nice and central to a lot good bars and restaurants and within a 10/15 minute walk to the beach. Easy taxi run.

Perfect location.

Villa was in a perfect location away from noisy street. The villa certainly needs of but of TLC but was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen lacked a few essentials but you don’t go to Bali to cook… with so many eating options close by it wasn’t a problem! Their Villa cleaners came in daily - all 5 of them were males - who said men never make good cleaners!! Can’t compliment the Villa staff enough. So friendly and happy to assist. We stayed in the same villa for 3 weeks and it was brilliant - a bit “rustic” but didn’t sweat the small stuff. You’re on holiday in Bali!
