My mum, daughter (19ys) and I stayed at the Villas over Christmas and had a wonderful time. The villa is large and comfortable and we each had our own ensuite. We enjoyed having the lovely team make us breakfast every morning, fresh coffee, fruit and a cooked breakfast of our choice from their menu. Rooms were cleaned daily and their turn down service (which includes mozzie protection) was faultless. We loved relaxing poolside in our private oasis after being out every day on the bustling streets. Very friendly staff who make some great recommendations for local services. Even though there is a kitchen in the villa, we didn't use this to prepare any of our own food as we ate at local restaurants, and the kitchen wasn't really set up for in home cooking. They have a room service menu which we used one night for a late supper, and the green curry was delicious. The villas are very close to the main street in Seminyak and a short walk through the interesting back streets to the beachside large hotels and flea market. Short walk to Seminyak Square too.

The plumbing in one of the bathrooms was a little average with the shower drain taking a long time to drain, but nothing too dramatic.

Large and spacious villa, but very tired. Our kids love the pool. Good staff who helped us with all our questions and every morning comes and makes our breakfast while we sleep

The tile in the pool is not fixed, door loops scream very strongly. In the first floor bathroom, water did not go out of the bath, but the bath problem was fixed on the same day.

Great staff however disappointing maintenance issues, slippery tiles & difficult access for taxi

The location was perfect — just a short walk to Eat Street, yet tucked away enough to enjoy peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle. The staff were exceptionally helpful, always going out of their way to assist with any issues.

We stayed in Villa Number 5, so our comments are specific to that villa. While it had charm, it was a little run-down and worn in places. Around the pool area, there were a few holes in the decking that were only noticeable when moving the sun loungers. The air conditioning in one of the bedrooms stopped working, and the following day the staff arranged for engineers to install a new unit. This was greatly appreciated, but unfortunately, it began leaking as soon as it was turned on. Engineers returned and managed to fix it temporarily, but it started leaking again within an hour. In the kitchen area, just a step away from the pool, the tiles become extremely slippery—almost like glass—when wet. Naturally, this happens often as you’re likely to grab a drink or snack after swimming. The villa is in a fantastic location for walking, but if you need a taxi, it can be challenging for drivers to find. The street is very narrow and operates on a one-way system, making access tricky. On several occasions, the security guard had to speak with our taxi drivers to help them navigate correctly to pick us up.

Very tired looking villa that needs updating

The property is centrally located near Seminyak square and in a small group of only 4 villas. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The villa we stayed in was number 5 @ Kumpi villas. A very tired looking villa and one to be avoided. The bathroom floor waste overflowed when the bath was emptied. The villa safe did not work. The reception staff said it was faulty. Furniture was either damaged or worn. The Bamboo awnings were damaged and could not be rolled up or down. The kitchen was in need of updating and smelt ‘mouldy’. Bathroom tap ware in the master bedroom was loose and insecure. Deflated pool toys were left behind by previous occupants, but they were obviously there for a long time. Our party of 5 all agreed that the management just need to spend time and money to upgrade to the standard described by the company website. Avoid this one!

the villa is very dated. it's not a 5 star villa any more...at best 4 star but even that's a stretch. they clearly have not done any updates in many years and the photos are not a true representation of the villa. We travelled as a large group and a friend stayed around the corner...his villa was luxurious and 5 star. Kumpi villa was unfortunately not.

Exceptional

The Rooms were well appointed and spacious. Daily house keeping with fresh towels was wonderful. Staff were extremely welcoming, happy and always helpful. Airport shuttle services and internal shuttle service was much appreciated. They even surprised us with a birthday cake and birthday message on my bed :) I would highly recommend.

Dirty pool, would not book again.

The location was the best part.

The villa's pool had murky water. We researched it and found it was bacteria, so we did not swim. In the three nights of our stay, no one came to treat the pool. It defeated the purpose of renting a villa with a pool. I was terribly disappointed about that.

A week in Kumpi

Great value for money villa. Its a 5 minutes walk to the main seminyak strip for bars and shops. The staff have been amazing to accommodate all our needs.

The property is somewhat dated. The pool was passable but not in a great condition. If one brings kids, be mindful of pool safety. The website says it has an on-site chef for all meals. This is not true, as the chef is only available for breakfast only.

great location, great staff, very nice property !

Just finished a 5 night stay at the property with 6 people. The Villa was very pretty, pool was lovely. Looks like photos. Breakfast was decent, they cooked in our Villa. You could choose from eggs, granola, pancakes or Indonesian meals. Came with fruit platters and delicious juice. Bottom bedroom was amazing, outdoor bathroom was very cool. Staff were very friendly and rooms were cleaned daily! They also mozzie sprayed every day

Top two bedrooms were good, bathrooms weren’t as modern, one of the showers leaked but apart from that nothing else to fault really.

perfect property in perfect location with perfect staff.

everything was perfect with this villa. we have stayed in many but this one was perfect location to great shops and restaurants. Easy walk to the beach. the unit had everything you need and was spotless. the staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. the daily breakfast cooked in the room was wonderful and they went out of their way to make my birthday extra special by dressing up the bedroom, bringing me a cake and singing me happy birthday. I didn’t want to leave as they make you feel at home. would recommend it to anyone and have already told my friends about it. Thank you Kumpi villa for everything. we’ll see you again hopefully soon

The best location and a gorgeous villa!

This property was in a great location, so close to the main eating and shopping strip in Seminyak, then a short walk to the beach. it was perfect! The staff were friendly and nothing was too much hassle. The complimentary breakfasts cooked in the villa were delicious. the pool was nice and deep and plenty big enough. we had so much space and it was such a clam tranquil space with all of the foliage. I was overall very happy with our stay here, such great value.

My family was happy stayed at kumpi.

Location is perfect as it close to many restaurants in a few minutes walk from kumpi. Staffs are super nice and pool size also good.

The bathrooms are a little bit old and no shower curtain on bathtub so it makes water goes everywhere on the floor but, it was provided after I made a request.
