Heliconia Villa

Location was excellent, really perfect! Customer service was impecable from beginning to end. Trista was great and so the all the staff, including the dogs :) . The villa itself was perfect for two people, even 3. Beautiful landscape, the plants, the garden in the property, just gorgeous. Althoug we were in the busiest street of Seminyak, right the in the middle of it (Eat street) the villa was extremely quite, like you were away in Ubud somewhere. They keepers came in everyday to make the bed, change towels and mop the floors so evrytime it felt fresh upon our return from a day out. They would also refill the room with a few water bottles every day.

The villa was very pooly cleaned. The kitchen which is outdoor (great idea btw!) wasn't very inviting giving the lack of cleanliness. The kitche cabinets were disgusting, with cobwebs inside even. I culdn't store anything in it. Every utensil I got I had to wash before using. The stove is rusted and one doesn't work at all, the other is tricky to keep alight. The towels had stains on it. They smell clean, but had heaps of stains and were clear very, very old 3 years ago and yet hasn't been replaced. The sheets, althougt had the smell and feeling of clean sheets, the velcro to close the quilt cover was unable to actually work given the amount of hair in it. The bathroom is beautiful, but the corners of the showers specially are black and slimy. The vanity has double sink and both taps did not work properly at all! The water would go everywhere, a simple fix like just change the washer should solve and make a huge a difference. I guess it all about the lack of attention to detail, not lack for care to be honest. And I did notice that in every place we stayed.

The location was great and felt very private

No breakfast and the recommendations for food were far away when we found places much closer.

Everything. We stay here each year and it’s always beautiful. The property and the staff were phenomenal.

The location was excellent for a holiday. The kindness and offering of help from the staff was very good. Tirta was very communicative and responded when we often had things that needed to be attended to. Probably one of the most beautiful entry gardens in the Town of Seminyak. The actual bedroom was lovely cool in the bed was clean linens and very comfortable. The gardener had done the most beautiful job I will attach pictures so you can appreciate the conundrum of the exterior beauty versus the actual comfort and convenience of the villa. #4

We were put in a larger villa #4 and they locked one of the rooms since we paid for a one-room apparently. At our arrival it hadn't been ready. At first look it was stunning, but the kitchen area was a nightmare and there was very little supplies and what was there was rusted or old with the exception of 2 pans We had to request to get a functioning kettle and toaster. No microwave no kitchen towels to dry dishes with etc. old and dirty kitchen sponges and it was filthy and unorganized in all the cabinets. The bathroom was not very clean the bathtub didn't have a plug there were lots of spider webs amongst the plants and you couldn't use cabinets under the sink They were sealed or locked. Hot water ran out after one shower and usually halfway through the shower. A large carving over the master bedroom fell down while we were in bed fortunately no one was hit. We ended up leaving 3 days earlier telling them we were staying with a friend as we didn't want to offend. We didn't ask for a refund We just left.
