Great place to stay with fantastic staff

Location was perfect, in the centre of town. Great selection of drinks and the food was excellent. Staff were really friendly and helpful. The rooms were really nice and well appointed. Great breakfast. Nice touch with all the games available to play in the bar for the kids.

Enjoyable stay

The royal location is perfect, two minutes' walk from the beach, one minute from the co-op, two minutes from the car park and the old town and bridge aren't far at all. The staff was very nice and friendly and always smiling. The breakfast was really nice with an organised booking system. I was worried about the noise of the pub as I was with my 9yo but it hasn't been an issue at all. Good soundproof bedroom. Also, there is a door that goes outside without going through the pub every time we need to go up to the bedroom. Thank you very much, we had such a lovely time.

Stayed as a family, booked 2 rooms, family room really spacious, double room smaller, but everything you need was catered for. Breakfast really good, family had pancakes as well as full English breakfast. Will definitely stay again!

The rooms are over the Pub, but you have a separate entrance we liked the pub and had a few drinks in the evening. Also dog friendly!

Absolutely brilliantt again!

My fourth stay here and I have to say that it was absolutely great. Stayed in a different room to previous visits but it was again, brilliantly kitted out. Bathroom fixtures and fittings are gorgeous, immaculately clean (as was the rest of the room) and the bed was really comfy. Location is superb and the staff are lovely. Breakfasts are fabulous as well and you can taylor your breakfast to exactly what you want. Honestly, it was a great stay against thank you so much .

I can’t wait to stay again!

Absolutely amazing food! Breakfast was lovely, there was so much to choose from. Dinner was delicious too the whole family chose a different dish and everyone cleared their plates. The family room is absolutely stunning! Blackout blinds, spacious shower room, Beds are so comfy! The staff are so welcoming and happy to help with any questions. The pub is like a museum! So much to look at and the amazing mural ceiling paintings are out of this world!!

Beautiful small hotel . Brand new refurb . Every finest detail is thought of . From the lovely shower gels and cream . To allowing our dog and there dog towels , feeding bowls , dog treats . So so generous in coffee tea and milk and bottled waters . Beaurhfum decor , bathrooms was so gorgeous . Highly recommend will be staying again thank you

If you want a fun little for a few nights and good food, there is nowhere better in Barmouth.

Really quirky , the bar was packed which I like and the food excellent.

A bit scary checking in due to the amount of people in the bar but don’t let that put you off, they look after you straight away.

Stayed here many times now and never disappoints. Always look forward to the next stay. Beautiful room, wonderful location right by train station and supermarket. Staff always brilliant It was my sons birthday and the room had chocolates and a card for him, such a nice touch

The staff are so friendly, the room was so comfortable, clean and spacious, and with great furnishings to add to the charm. Breakfast was good, and the location is close to the beach, walks, the train station, cafes etc. The pub food is tasty.
