If you want a fun little for a few nights and good food, there is nowhere better in Barmouth.

Really quirky , the bar was packed which I like and the food excellent.

A bit scary checking in due to the amount of people in the bar but don’t let that put you off, they look after you straight away.

Stayed here many times now and never disappoints. Always look forward to the next stay. Beautiful room, wonderful location right by train station and supermarket. Staff always brilliant It was my sons birthday and the room had chocolates and a card for him, such a nice touch

Perfect For Getaways.

We love the cleanliness at this place. Staff are welcoming & friendly - this includes the staff behind the bar and at breakfast. We always have at least one main evening meal here & absolutely love it, every time. The beds are comfortable and clean, plenty of light in the room - can't say we *didn't like* anything. The breakfast & food in general is always cooked to perfection. Cheers!

Wonderful beach holiday

We found our stay to be pleasant and relaxing. Our room was perfect, a good size, with lovely decor and furniture. Parking was available which wasn't expensive. Food was amazing we had our evening meal at the Royal and it was also happy hour so that was a bonus! Great atmosphere in the pub and staff were happy to help. The breakfast was very nice too. Located in Barmouth itself with everything you would want for a nice holiday close by. Beach is wonderful and the sea is perfectly clear.

A superb stay in Barmouth

The welcome we received from the staff was incredible. Even the locals in the bar were chatting to us whilst we checked in. The car parking was literally 2 min walk away and on £5 per 24hrs payable to the hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for them and the breakfast and evening meal were superb. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I’m being very pedantic here because everything was so good but our room (No. 7) was so hot even though we had 2 fans already in the room. Mind you the weather was in the high 20s so what do you expect?

Everything about our stay was excellent. The room was exactly as portrayed (the hotel is on a main road and so there was some road noise if the window was open but this was included in the description). The staff were really friendly the food was great and really good value for money.We ate in the hotel all 3 nights of our stay. There was entertainment on Friday and Saturday both were great but Friday night was exceptional.

Although the hotel was advertised as dog friendly we were not expecting there to be so many dogs . We were not keen on the fact that dogs were allowed in the dining room. On our last morning at breakfast there were eight tables including ours that were occupied and six dogs.

Bathroom and location, beds were comfy for a twin room. Fans provided as was very hot. Garage available for £5 for motorcycle storage which we took.

Just noisy but it was a Saturday night in town so to be expected.

Perfect place for Y Promenâd tourists

A lovely room above the pub right in the town centre. Staff very helpful and made us our breakfast slightly after they usually stop to give us time to do parkrun and walk back. It's only 2 minutes walk to the promenade so an ideal place to stay for parkrun tourists. Bed was a good size and comfy, room really nice and bathroom excellent. Parking just down the road was good too.
