    will definitely come back. staff are helpful and courteous, the resort is beautiful and so serene. love the availability of shuttle bus and taxi arranged by the hotel. surrounding neighbourhood is beautiful and very safe. went for early morning walks and felt safe. thank you

    We stayed at Marriott’s Village d’Île-de-France from 22 June to 24 June and overall found the resort beautiful, clean, and very well maintained. The facilities and environment were excellent, and we enjoyed our stay. Unfortunately, our departure experience was extremely disappointing and left a negative impression. On the morning of check-out, my family and I were finishing breakfast in the breakfast lounge. Our luggage was already packed and ready for departure. Although the official check-out time was 10:00 AM, we were simply completing our breakfast before leaving. While we were eating, the manager, Vivian, approached us and questioned why we had not checked out. I politely explained that we were finishing breakfast and requested approximately 30 additional minutes. Instead of showing understanding or courtesy, she responded that they had thousands of guests and could not consider every guest’s situation because the room needed to be prepared for the next guest. The manner in which this was communicated felt rude and dismissive. I felt embarrassed in front of my family and ended up leaving my breakfast unfinished to check out immediately. I fully understand the need to follow check-out procedures and prepare rooms for incoming guests. However, I believe guests should be treated with respect, professionalism, and basic courtesy. The way this situation was handled did not reflect the level of hospitality I would expect from a Marriott property. While the resort itself is wonderful, this negative interaction significantly affected our overall experience.
