A real gem and one I will be returning to.
The Da Vinci has a warmth to it that is hard to pin down until you realise it is the details. The paintings throughout the hotel are beautiful, genuinely beautiful, the kind you stop and look at rather than walk past. It gives the place a character that most hotels spend a fortune trying to manufacture and never quite manage.
The staff are the other half of it. I left my charger behind and without any fuss at all they looked after it for me. Small thing. But that kind of quiet attentiveness is exactly what separates a good hotel from one you actually remember.

Located near beach, promenade, pier etc.
Breakfast very good.
Liked quirky feel to Da Vinci
On Sunday beds were made and tea, coffee milk were replenished. On the Monday when we returned after day out. No one had been in and we had to ask staff for more supplies.

The closeness to Devonshire park and the beach front, rooms had lovely high ceilings and generous size!
The outside looked like it could do with a tidy up
Would of liked hooks in the bathroom to hang towels etc and maybe a fan as you couldnt open the window

The room is clean and location perfect
The bed is soo uncomfortable and the room is very small - all night radiator making weird noise couldn’t sleep
