Great stay just away from rather busy Lucca.

Friendly owner very responsive to messages/ needs. A well kept and clean property about 15 min walk from historic Lucca centre, easy to reach Supermarket close by. Soundproof windows. Pleasant outlook on garden.

No sink in dining common area/ - could only access water in bathroom - Suggest perhaps a filtered water container in area . All good otherwise.

Comfy beds. Really nice staff. Free Parking.

Wi-Fi not working. The window stool above our head was really really dirty, 1 cm of dust. Toilets were not clean, in a brown color. Kitchen area is not a kitchen, beware. If you can't use the AC, you can't sleep due to noise.

Fantastic host. Very clean, tidy, cosy but also airy.

Riccardo was an exceptional host. Always responsive and accommodating and friendly to talk to. Much appreciated. My room and the bathroom were clean and super tidy. My room was a good size, cozy and Im really glad there was air conditioning because the heat in Lucca has been intense. I liked that we could use the fridge in the dining space. And I really liked the shower a lot too

Great place to stay within walking distance of central Lucca.

Nice place to stay within easy walking distance of central Lucca. The host was welcoming and friendly, and the room was a decent size and comfortable. There was ample parking right by the property, so a good place to stay if arriving by car.

No facilities to make tea and coffee. Found the bed and pillows a bit uncomfortable, so we didn't sleep as well as in our previous hotel.

Accommodation is basic but looks cozy and clean. It is perfect for a short stay in Lucca. Easy walking distance to the city center. Car parking is for free because it is outside city walls.

The hosts were very friendly and helpful The room was clean The host went out and purchased a new internet modem when the old one broke. the room was a good size

The room was on the top floor not a problem for fit people but my wife has rhuematoid arthritis so struggled a bit but in fairness to the host they did not know prior to my booking. For the same reason the 15minute walk into Lucca centre was very tiring for her but will be no problem for a fitter person The room could have done with a bit more shelving/space to put things on

Good value for money

Room very clean and cozy. It was very comfortable. Location is good for parking as It is outside the city centre but just 10 min walking from the main attractions. Staff was very helpful and kind.

The B&B is near the highway and the road so it was a bit noisy. And although the room was equipped with good windows, It was still possible to heard the traffic.But if you are used to it because you live in the city, It shouldn't be a problem.

Very kind and helpful host :-) Bright and clean room/bathroom and a fine kitchen. With the windows closed and the a/c on, you will not hear the highway traffic. Perfect place with only a short walk from the wall and the historic city.

I normally don't complain - the price was good, the location too. But the windows are so old, that it didn't make a difference if they were closed or open and as the street nearby (not the autostrada, by the way) was so busy and loud the whole night through, we couldn't get any sleep. We checked out after one night - but had to pay for two.

Clean but lacking facilities

The room was bright and clean, airco was great. Fridge in the kitchen for all guests. We were able to check in in the morning, and I think they felt guilty about us getting a downgrade on the room. We got a small 5% discount.

We booked a room with private bathroom, but only 2 days before our stay we were told there was a double booking, and we got a shared bathroom. I missed a trashcan in the room, and soap in the bathroom. In the kitchen a sign said we could only sit there to make use of the breakfast from the hotel and not with our own food or drinks. It was quite a walk to the city center and train station as well. Also I talked with the owner in English, but sometimes I suddenly got message in Italian and had to ask for a translation. We were disappointed in the service here.

Lovely buiding outide Lucca walls

Before you book pls notice that Check in time is from 3 pm to 6 pm only. If you can not check in within this time, you better do not book. Located outside Lucca walls about 15 - 20 min walk from train station. I found it very convenient. The area is nice and safe. The house has been fully renovated and it looks very nice. They have a backyard and a garden. Bed was comfy. I would suggest owner to have water heater in the common area so outside breakfast times guests can have tea or coffe. The only low point for me is that wifi is weak. I had a plesant stay, Grazzie Dimora San Lazzaro!!!
