Short stay outside of city

For the price, it was a passable option, easy connection with public transport to the city. Free parking (in a shady side road)

The owner was a little bit strange, sorry - but OK. Breakfast was very simple. The room was not very comfortable, but OK for a short stay.

Very clean and very quiet.

Exceptionally clean.very quiet.friendly staff,and good breakfast.

We struggled to find reception,until a passer by told us it was in the Italian restaurant around the corner.Poor signage but that was being remedied as we left by the workmen on site so other guests should be OK. Just a further comment.the hot water is "scalding" hot.so please take great care.

Beautiful location by the Lake!

The staff were nice, the location by a very nice lake and gardens was amazing. If you like walking or hiking, be sure to step out every morning for a very refreshing walk around the beautiful lake. You will love it!

A bit too far from the city centre. When you alight at the last stop of the tram and you don't have a map, locating the property would be difficult. It's a clear 10minutes walk from the last tram station, so always be ready for a daily walk. Breakfast was a bit basic, but was ok.

Nature in the city

A beautiful residence in the outskirts of Brussels near a most wonderful and peaceful park, it felt like being in the countryside. The owners and staff were more than friendly and warm, a big thank you for making us feel welcome. When we go back to Brussels, we will definitely stay there!

Perfect location for a relaxed trip - Brussels is within easy access via tram.

10 min walk to the tram into Brussels via the park. Bella Vita restaurant and its staff were excellent hosts and made us feel very welcome. Good choice at breakfast.

Excellent stay, with really nice staff.

It's great value for money. It's super clean, the room is spacious, and the breakfast was more than good. Also we had to change the arrival plans multiple times, and the staff had no issues with that, they accommodated all our requirements. The staff is also very pleasant and nice. We're loved it here! If I come back to Brussels, I'll be staying here again.

You need to take two transportations from the center to the apartment. Also the hair dryer was a bit weak.

Disappointing

The room is very sterile, no single effort on decoration. Even though it was written while booking that there is a Free Private Parking belonging to the property, that was not actually the case. We've been told to park on the public street but there was no place before 11 pm because of a local event that day. The host refused to adjust the price. I do not recommend.

Superb

The location is a bit outside of town, but a 10 min walk to the bus station will take you to the city center. Real easy access. The owner has an Italian restaurant around the corner from the BnB and food is outstanding. Parking is right in front of the house.

There is no reception, you have to enter the property via code , I received the code lately after searching for reception in the rainy weather and writing back the hotel per booking. Unfortunately they didn’t answer in English and using Translation of booking didn’t help a lot.

Ok for its money

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a few facilities that most hotels don't have, but they made the stay more enjoyable. For example, an espresso machine with real coffee in the room instead of the regular instant coffee. The supply of tea in the room was also very generous. It's those little things that I appreciated the most. The area around the hotel was also stunning!

We had two single beds in the room rather then one double, which was a bit awkward considering it was our anniversary trip. We weren't informed of that until we saw the room. The bathroom also smelled a little weird. Not much can be done about that, but a construction site nearby and pretty thin walls of the hotel made the mornings very noisy. We didn't like the restaurant much as well. The staff was very good, but the food wasn't. I will never forget getting smoked salmon in my pasta at the restaurant that claimed to be Italian. Aside from that, the food was just quite bland.

Pleasant

Room has a lovely location, you're in the middle of a park, so surrounded by nature and bird song. Tram station is 10 minute walk through the park, city center is also close. There is an Italian restaurant on a corner, just beside the building, which is great. Room was spacious, warm.

We had issues with the bathroom. Hangers for towels are missing, which can really be a problem, even though it doesn't seem like one at first. Shower is not at all separated from the rest of the bathroom floor, so everytime you use it, you create a small flood. Luckily, there was a floor mop-rag which was helpful for avoiding the flood. So, a small suggestion to the owner - put towel hangers on the bathroom walls and for the people booking - bring slippers. :)

Well enough for 1 night!

Good and quiet place. The room is not big but enough for 2 persons. The bed is big and comfortable. The car can be parked just in front of the hotel or 30 meters away. Breakfast is served already the day before and placed in the fridge.

I didn't receive any instructions from the hotel on how to get in. I had to call. In 2 minutes came a man and everything explained. It was around 17.00. But when will it be late night or earlymorning? Breakfast in the fridge leaves no chance to choose.

Wonderful, gourmet breakfast! The host was extremely responsive, warm, and helpful. Quiet neighborhood, near a bus stop, with an excellent restaurant in the same building. Very clean. Good value. Microwave, fridge, coffee maker, electric kettle in room.

About 30 minutes by bus to the old city. But buses leave every 15 minutes so it is easy to go and return.
