Great!

Beautiful large room with great view and spacious balcony. Everything worked good and very clean. Staff were very friendly and went above and beyond to help me with any issues. Quiet at night which was wonderful. I would definitely stay again.

It would nice to have bedside lamps in the room and a full top sheet on bed. A fridge in room would also be great. Approx. 10 minute walk to town centre uphill on way going to the hotel but not too bad....easily walkable.

Clean, convenient and comfortable.

This was a stopover after disembarking at Padang Bai harbour on our way to and back from Amed so it was clean, convenient and comfortable.

We rented a supposedly powerful and new scooter from the staff which was overpriced by at least 40k IDR per day - the scooter was underpowered and just about barely made it up the steep slopes; we then noticed the small print on the receipt which said the rental was for 12 hours so in effect we were going to pay extortionate prices, we complained and had that corrected to 24 hours and then paid 50% extra for exceeding the return time by a couple of hours (but we had agreed to this beforehand so this is not a complaint); leaving our travel backpack cost us 30k IDR extra per day which is again weird as we were gone for just two days; in the end the once-friendly staff were completely disinterested in us when we returned only wanting us to settle the dues on the bike and bag, and being very dismissive and turning their backs on us which was a very unpleasant experience and left us feeling frustrated.

Very simple but clean rooms, helpful staff and peaceful environment. I stayed for only one night to take a boat but served well for one night.

Located on a remote street, you need to take taxi to the boat station which is a bit overpriced since Grab and Gojek are not available.

Got what I paid for

Booking the room without ac was completely my fault but I wouldn’t recommend it as it was very hot and it wasn’t even peak heat. It looked clean enough except the bathroom, there were insects in there.

A lovely stay to begin my trip.

Quiet area away from the hustle and bustle of the port. There was a lovely restaurant five minutes walk away. The host Kadek was easy to contact, came to greet me and arranged my boat ticket and gave me a ride to the port. The room was clean and with ac, soap and towels. Breakfast was eggs or pancakes and was enjoyable. There was a pool but I didn’t have time to use it. I liked that there was a veranda to sit on outside the room.

Lovely stop over

It was a lovely little home stay, pool was nice and well kept, balcony outside the room was a lovely space too!

It is really a bit too far out of Padangbai to comfortably walk to the harbour as it’s a really stateroom hill, we got a taxi which cost us quite a lot, as the locals don’t us grab.

The location was convenient as we were getting a boat the following day. It was cheap so you get what you pay for

Located sufficiently near the port, clean and could check in late.

The curtains were too thin, a lot of light came in at night. No kettle to boil water. Main gripe is really poor soundproofing, it’s really noisy due to some gecko right outside so sleep was difficult.
