The best place to stay in Padangbai

Perfect location to catch the ferry to Gili T. Plus we were able to store our bags there and only take a small bag to the Gilis. They offer airport pick up and onward transport to Tulamben for a reasonable price. Also helped me buy my ferry tickets. Free breakfast was amazing... best one we had in Indonesia! Room was clean and comfortable.

Good location only if you are travelling to Gili Islands and don.

The property was okay. Basic things were available int he hotel. Good if you travelling in the Gili island next morning. Thats what we did too

There was not AC in the room. So better to check beforehand We missed it and it was hard without AC

Practical and comfortable place to stay before a trip Gili Islands

We stayed one night to be close to the boat across to the Gili Islands so it was a perfect location for us. Breakfast was good. Staff very helpful with organising a boat which is well worth doing as you encounter a lot of people trying to sell you tickets/ manhandle your bags as you try to walk to the boat. Clean and comfortable.

No safety box in room despite saying there was one, location of hotel off a beaten up road with very minimal lighting, and my room was steps from lobby with thin wood doors.

Nice quiet place - lovely staff and room

Nice place a few minutes walk from the centre (harbour, shops, etc.). In a quiet street. had a double room. Really spacious and pretty bathroom. The staff is really lovely. They have dorms too. Although it is not really a hostel, more guesthouse. Padangbai is a nice small place, easy to get around and really good diving (recommend).

Although after 22.00 supposed to be quiet, you can hear people talking/laughing in the communial area (not well isolated). You can politely say something. Or ask staff to help.

This is the perfect place to stay for transit from Airport to Gili T. And walking distance to Padang Bai ferry. We also arranged transport from Denpasar airport to bamboo paradise which was so easy.

Manager knows what travelers expect. The staff helped me to sort out my snorkeling trip and laundry with market price. Room were clean and tidy. I also liked open air shower. Terrific place considering return on your money.

Had a lovely stay here! Hostess and the staff were extremely nice. They arranged everything that was needed, gave me great tips where to go and had delicious food. When in Padang Bai I would definitely recommend you to stay at this place!

Good enough!

Bed was really comfortable, everything is clean. The breakfast is very good. Coffee is mid but the rest is good.

It’s loud at night… it might have been just for the night we stayed but I don’t think so. When I asked the receptionist to do something about it he basically ignored me. I had to ask the people to be quiet myself… also a lot of noise from motors

A practical accommodation.

We stayed here for just one night while transferring to Lombok, and it was perfect for what we needed. The accommodation was practical, clean, and comfortable. They also arranged transportation from Bali Airport for a very reasonable price. The driver who picked us up was very friendly and polite. Overall, a convenient and hassle-free stay

Great stay before taking fast boat

Best breakfast we had! Super nice people working there, super close to the harbour (walking distance). You could also leave your luggage there if your just planning on visiting gilis for few days.

A great value stay close to harbour and restaurants.

Bamboo Paradise is in a great location, just a 10 minute walk from the harbour and close to a choice of local restaurants and shops. You can walk to a white sand beach in around 10 minutes and a different beach in around 20. Our peaceful room had its own balcony with views towards the hills and the shower in the bathroom was excellent. The staff were efficient, kind and friendly. We had a great stay. Great place to stay

Bamboo Paradise is a fantastic place to stay in Padangbai. The guesthouse is well situated, not far from white beach and town. It is also very well run with knowledgeable and helpful staff who go out of their way to make sure guests are looked after. We arranged an airport pickup from Denpasar with the accommodation at a great rate with a good safe driver. Breakfast was delicious and we were given a recommendation for a local restaurant for dinner which turned out to be the best seafood bbq we had during our entire trip. Room was spacious and comfy bed. I would highly recommend staying here for a couple of days, especially if catching a boat to other islands. Padangbai is much quieter and chilled out than other parts of Bali these days.

Convenient location for Padangbai port!

The location is very convenient if you want to take the ferry from Pandangbai port. You can walk there in just a few minutes, although the roads are a bit rough. Our room was comfortable with plenty of space for four people. We only stayed there to sleep - we got in late and left early, so it met our needs very well for the price. They also were good about a late check in, and we were able to get a decent breakfast in the morning included as well.

Our room had air conditioning, but our daughter booked a different room and it didn't have an air-conditioner, so check that. There are also lots of cats around, in case you are allergic. Not in our room, but in communal areas.

Great location to explore this hidden gem of Padangbai

Perfect location, walkable distance to the port and restaurants. Bias Tugel Beach and Blue Lagoon Beach are close by as well (better to go with a scooter or Grab though as it’s uphill). The beds were comfortable. Towel included. Dorm was decent size and the locker was big. Really good breakfast with 5 or 6 options to choose from (coffee/tea/hot chocolate included and a bowl of fresh fruits). The staff was really nice. I stayed there for 4 days to enjoy this hidden gem of Bali and I really enjoyed my stay!

The shower was a bit small, but at least the water was hot and the pressure was reaaaallly good!! Also, there are open windows in the toilet and shower (separate rooms, which was nice), so when people forget to close the doors, a lot of mosquitoes get in the room. But these are really just small details. Overall I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this place to anyone!

A really nice guesthouse close to the harbour

The room was perfect.. good bed and shower and airco. Very modern, I liked it. The room was not in the main building but next to it. A little bit strange entrance, but that wasn’t a problem at all. You get the very good breakfast in de main building. Very easy, together with other guests.

For me the stairs were a problem. But they helped me to carry the suitcase

friendly chill place with great access to beaches and amazing breaky

manager on duty was a chill guy who i bumped into alot around town and he always waved and said hi, really friendly and welcoming. white sand beach is super close and there is a little 'secret' walk way to get there which is only a few meters away, a fun walk up and down a hill and you pop right out onto the beach. the beach was amazing, so many fish just meters from the sand. breakfast was delicious and made fresh to order with a decent selection, i had the chia pudding each day and it was fresh and tasty. coffee also good. dorms are standard, comfy bunk beds, curtain, good ac, shower and toilet. you can tell the common area is cleaned regularly by the friendly, hardworking staff.

so many centipedes/millipedes/critters in the whole town, so naturally, alot throughout the accommodation, sometimes even in or on your bed. not really an issue and they are harmless, but expect them to be everywhere. also means squished ones are all over dorm floor. dorm is swept daily by staff.

One night sleepless stop for easy port access

It was close to the port, room had a safe Staff at breakfast were lovely and food choices were good and tasty. I really liked the seeded wholemeal bread

They put me in a room I did not book so I felt u safe. Apparently they have renovations for upstairs rooms so I was put in a downstairs room by the smokers area even though I had a non smoking room. As a solo traveller I didn’t feel safe admitting was noisy and smoke came in the room. had booked an upstairs room to be safer and quieter. The bathroom was open air partially so was full of mosquitos, cockroaches and bugs. I had managed to not have a single mosquito bite my whole time in Bali and left this place with over 20 as even with bathroom door closed they come in through the gaps around the door (room 3)

Nice place with huge room!

Really liked the place and the room. The lobby looks really welcoming. Breakfast is also a lot and good! Staff is super friendly. My boat to Gili T was cancelled and I got a later boat. They allowed me to check out at 12 instead of 11. Room is huge, mattress really comfortable

The only thing that bothered me was, that even when the balcony door was fully closed, there was still a 1-2 cm gap. So Moskitos could still get in.

Good basic stay

Staff were friendly and responded to requests very quickly. Air condition was very good and powerful. Breakfast was plenty. Driver who picked us up from the airport was a good driver.

The bathroom drains were not covered, so when we dropped something, it was gone for ever.
