Wouldn’t comeback. Ok if you are desperate (not expensive), but wouldn’t return.

Location.

No contact on arrival - no bathroom light - directed to a room number, but half the rooms were not identified. Breakfast was abysmal. Noise of roosters, dogs and school kids.

Perfect location for ferry

Perfect location after getting off the ferry, staff were welcoming and provided some lovely breakfast in the morning, perfect for what we needed for 1 night

Perfect for 1 night before Fast Boat

Perfect location, Modest accommodation, comfortable bed, very clean, great price. While the place was quite modest, it was perfect for one night before taking the Fast Boat to the Gilis.

There was a problem with electricity between 7:00-8:00pm. It kept going on and off, but the hosts were working furiously to try and fix it.

Community feel accomidation

As soon as I booked they we're in contact with me about transport from denpasar airport to pedangbai. Locked in a pickup from them for very affordable price as trip is about 1hr 30min and can cost alot. Kadak who picked us up was an absolute legend, kept in contact with me from the moment we jumped off the plane till we jumped in his car. After we arrived in padangbai helped us settle and gave some local tips and spots to visit & eat. Room stayed very cold and beds were pretty comfortable. Breakfast was good, the banana pancake was the outstanding favourite! The food at the restaurant just outside the homestay was great, best mi goreng I've had on the trip and the lady and male that were running it were so welcoming and happy to see you! The rooms were nestled in a bunch of other family homes so you felt apart of the community staying there. Each person was welcoming and very polite. Would stay here again!

Nothing to point out other than the rooster that wakes you up at 6am every morning haha but soon realised most places in bali we stayed at roosters also!

Perfect location to explore Padangbai!

Location is perfect to explore both Blue Lagoon and white sand beach. Just a 5 minute walk to the ferry and you have plenty of food and cafe options around! The staff are super friendly! The warung that sets up in front of the street at night is part of the family and the food is amazing! Very friendly too!

Good homestay with nice breakfast very near Padangbai harbour!

The owner is very responsive, quickly arranged a driver for us and the homestay is very near to the padangbai harbour, which was very convenient.

We spent one night here. And it was good value

Very convenient for one night before catching boat to the Gilis. Clean and acceptable. The food at Bagus Warung was delicious and great value.

Shower pressure was low- but everything was good for the low price we paid. I am not complaining.

Nice breakfast, cheap and helpful.

They organised us a shuttle from the airport, our flight had 5 hours delay and we arrived at 2 am. All this was communicated via the guy who picked us up, so no stress for us.

Very convenient location for a night before the ferry. Clean and comfortable! Decent breakfast included. Very helpful staff. Lovely French style bakery next door.

We were made very welcome. Basic place for a night whilst waiting for the ferry. Very friendly locals. One of the mattresses in our room was pretty average. (passed its use by date)

The nicest family I’ve ever met they’re so kind and friendly, we only stayed one night before we went to the islands and I wish we stayed longer. Breakfast in the morning as well!

Good value for the the money

Quite cozy front yard and the room had a terrace facing this yard. There was a common fridge we could store our drinks in to have them cold for the boat trip to Gili. The ladies running the place were very welcoming and cooked us a nice breakfasts. The room was quite standard but had the essentials. Perfect as a landing place before you go with the early boats from Padang Bai.

The comfort of the beds weren’t too notch, but the price of this stay can make up for that easily. Unfortunately we didn’t get a lot of sleep as there was a rooster making a lot of noise several times throughout the the night. Seemed like it was right outside the window in the bathroom. Also you could hear scooters speeding on the road. So very central in the city indeed.

Nice place to stay when taking the boat from Padangbai

Only stayed for one night to take the boat from the harbour the next day. Room was nice and clean, breakfast was good en one of the owners offered to help arrange transportation.

Location was a little different in real life than on the map, but we were still able to find it nonetheless.

You pay for what you get. Noisy and cold shower. Wouldn’t stay here again.

Very close to harbour for boat trip to Gili T. Staff were nice and got us breakfast very quickly.

It was so so noisy. People outside our room talking till very late. Cockerel was making so much noise from 3ams. Dogs and cats fighting and barking. Opposite a school so very noisy there. This was all before 8am in the morning. Making the experience very unpleasant. The water was also absolutely freezing!!

A great short stay

Bagus Homestay was a perfect short-term stay while waiting for the boat to the Gili Islands. It was in an ideal location and the host was super helpful, even showing us a Balinese festival that was happening in the village!

The bathroom could do with renovation as the toilet did not work properly and there was a lack of toiletries.

Such a lovely and attentive family, they went out of their way to make me feel comfortable. Breakfast in the morning was wonderful and they were very friendly and helpful.

The room was very unclean. It was absolutely covered in maggots- we got the room cleaned again and then it continued to have hundreds of maggots on the floor. The blanket was covered in a blood stain. We got woken up at 5 am from some loud wailing and the room smelt like urine. We did not sleep and left at 6am.
