The grandma who runs this place is absolutely delightful and is always there to lend a helping hand. This place is like a true Balinese house, where large families live together, including sons, daughters, in-laws, and grandchildren. It's just a short 10-minute walk to Bias Tugel Beach and not too far from Padang Bai Harbor, making it a convenient location if you're planning a trip to Lombok.

The place was not in the best condition and could use some improvements. The bathroom did not meet our expectations, as there was no hot water and there were times when there was no water at all. The toilet and bathtub were also not very clean, and we noticed a dirty fleck on the bed. The towels seemed quite old and worn out. Additionally, there were quite a few insects that made their way into our room, including cockroaches. To make matters worse, the kitchen was not well-maintained and we had to ask for utensils, plates, and glasses every time. The cleanliness of the fridge was also a concern. Overall, we were disappointed and regretted staying there for several days. If it weren't for the high season in the city, we probably wouldn't have booked this place on such short notice.

It's a private house. The people are super friendly and helpful.The bedroom is Ok if you just want a place to crash.

It's a bit far from the main road, if you are traveling the first time during the night in Indonesia the path might be a bit scary.

affordable and comfortable with helpful staff

We made a last minute booking because our ferry from Penang Bai to Gili Air was cancelled. A short walk up hill through a leafy village took us to this simple but delightful home. The staff were a family who live at the property so if you don't like small children noises, it isn't the place for you. This didn't bother us at all and the children were very very good. A cheap and delightful place to stay. Many thanks.

The water was not always hot for a shower but it didn't matter too much because the climate is so hot anyway. There was nothing else we didn't like

Great long term Family Home

Traditional Balinese house, lovely family, beautiful small children, very willing to help, hold conversations, share their lives. Good people. Room was large, big bed, comfortable, own bathroom, kitchen area and pool. This creates a feeling of connection to the family, and the challenges of illness in the old man. Wayan, the matriarch, brings breakfast free when she sees you are awake. Putu Nita is a great support ; her husband is also in tourism. This was an intimate encounter which will lead to real sharing with a longer stay.

It is a bit far from town, uphill and strenuous to get there. The family makes an effort to help at no charge. Bikes and taxis do not appear to roam the area, so walking is inevitable. As in many Asian countries, plumbing fixtures don't work well or are broken but all functions could be performed in this house..I could overlook the problems.

Nice authentic balinese guest house

The perfect place to recover after à long journey. Swimming pool surrounded by a zen luxuriant garden . Sweet smell from the frangipani flowers. The owner has organised all the pick-up for our travel to different place . I recommend for people who like traditional balinese house

Lovely stay!

Great value for money, nearby the most beautiful beach we've seen in Bali and amazingly nice, welcoming and hospitable hosts. We had nice breakfast, took a great snorkeling trip with them and they also let us to take a shower after a more than 6 hours after checkout Room was also very comfortable.

the room is very basic with nothing to put your clothes. the sheets were dirty and the pillows smell like sweat. the bathroom was dirty and no hot water. the air con was smelling SO bad that we couldn’t turn it on so they gave us a fan but it was so hot outside so we barely slept. the swimming pool all green and dirty that you don’t even want to put a toe in it. it is far from everything with no possibility to rent a scooter. no restaurant around so we didn’t have diner.

Not far from the beach. OK room and good kitchen area, fridge. Helped me with a car for going to Amed but little too expensive.

There is not any Wi-Fi. And signal for data is very poor... Big problem having a little internet. No TV. Expensive area..

Really enjoyed my space here at Mimba. I had the upstairs which is super private. Great room and balcony. Stove for cooking or making tea - coffee. Fridge. You may want a scooter here! Interesting family. Nice pool. Mamas omelet sandwich is tasty. Water. All's good for me!

L’endroit idéal où se poser à Padang Bai, pour se reposer dans un bon hostel et se balader autour.

Vraiment tout ! Très paisible, chambre privée très spacieuse avec un très grand lit, et sdb privée. La piscine plein soleil le matin, avec le petit déjeuner : incroyable ! La famille est super mignonne et souriante, vous aurez votre espace tranquille mais famille présente si besoin. Les enfants sont très mignons ! Le fils de la gérante m’a emmené à l’aéroport de Denpasar. Le centre n’est qu’à 10min à pied (ATM dispo) - 15/20min pour les points de rdv snorkeling et massages… - mais petit warung a 3min super sympa et très abordable (restau italien à côté + cher mais bon !). Pour finir chemin à 10min pour aller à une plage gratuite et très propre, isolée, avec des Warung et transat dispos. Compter 10min ensuite sur le chemin (légèrement escarpé mais très faisable en claquettes).

Rien ! (Peut-être revoir la baignoire de la chambre privée, pour l’arrivée d’eau).

Authentique, douceur, calme, propre

J’ai aimé l’authenticité du lieu. Si vous cherchez un lieu loin du tourisme et proche de Padang bai pour séjourner, alors ce lieux est fait pour vous. Cet établissement n’a que 3 chambres et les 3 autres sont celles d’une famille qui a transformer sa maison en gîte. Enfants, parents et grand mère, ouvert à l’échange et au partage. Ce lieu est idéal si vous voyager pour vivre en immersion avec les locaux. En plus cette famille est arrangeant et vous aidera autant qu’elle le pourra

A fuir !! Ne devrait pas exister sur booking !

Absolument rien

Lieu d'une saleté honteuse Absence d'accueil, personne ne répond a la porte ou au téléphone a notre arrivée, nous avons du entrer par nous même et réveiller la grand-mère !!! Apres un geste de la main sommaire pour nous indiquer nos chambres, on découvre des lits rudimentaires avec du linge sale avec des coussins moisies a peine caché sous une taie d'oreiller. Et surtout des salles d'eau d'une saleté inommable ! Un tuyau en guise de douche qui donne directement sur le sol des toilettes (pas de receveur. Odeur d'urine dans les toilettes avec un chat qui s'invite dans la piece principale dont la porte ne ferme pas et qui miaule et chasse la nuit ! Nous avons du chercher un autre lieu en urgence et sommes partis dès le lendemain matin sans nous risquer a prendre un petit déjeuner!

Schön ruhig gelegen, allerdings etwas lieblos und teilweise unfreundlich.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr abseits der Stadt gelegen, dadurch hat man lange Wege, jedoch auch viel Natur.

Die Familie wohnt mit auf dem Grundstück, dadurch fehlt ein wenig Privatsphäre. Das Frühstück war etwas einfallslos, am letzten Tag wurde sich keine Mühe mehr gegeben und lediglich ungetosteter Toast mit einem Glas Marmelade auf den Tisch gestellt.

Lieve vrouw en zonen! Ze gaven mij een goedkope rit naar Ubud en is een goede locatie voor als je van een lange boot reis toekomt bij de haven daar. Het was ook een mooi verblijf

Ik boekte een kamer met airco maar bij aankomst was die kapot en kreeg ik idp een slechte ventilator. De douche werkte eerst niet en er waren geen gordijnen en geen ramen in de badkamer ook veel rode mieren
