Central Belfast Apartments: Citygate

The apartment was spacious, cosy and clean, super clean and neat. Fully equipped kitch with good size and clean cutleries. Clear instructions on free wifi. Staff was very responsiveness.

Bed and pillows were too soft for my liking. Kettle was rusty and could not be used. Location of apartment was quiet, not along main road. The entrance or main door of apartment and corridor walkway outside rooms did not give me a safe and comfortable feeling.

Easy to find, parking an option. Comfortable and clean, well appointed with utilities. A nice welcome pack

There was construction work across the road that started pretty early , but just on one morning There was an outside music event in the evenings but that’s outwith the control of property . It was loud tho

The location was perfect. Not far from the airport bus stop and good for other bus services. It was good being on the 4th floor for the views.

A few more tea bags would have been a kind gesture. We were two people and we had to go out and buy some more for our 4 night stay and then leave almost the whole box behind.

Possible FRAUD Warning : Charged 980 GBP (GP Pounds) instead of 365 GBP. On the 16 June 2026 Booking.com sent me ‘Your reservation is paid and no further payment is required before the stay, and I was debited 365 GBP. The I received a message from Belfast City Gate indicating : to receive your Self-check-in instructions, please complete the pre-arrival check-in form. This checking-form request personal details, passport photo and FULL DETAILS OF YOUR BANKING CARD. This form AUTHORIZES CITY GATE TO CHARGE WHATEVER THEY WANT including a deposit of 250 GBP. I was TRAPPED and sent the check-in form. Five days later I discovered that City Gate had charged 365+ 250 = 615 GBP. So I have been charged 365 (Booking.com) + 615 (City Gate) = 980 GBP instead of 365 GBP.
