The hosts were very welcoming. Very good breakfast and 10mins away by bis from train station. Lovely walk along loch ness.

Rooms were too hot, and Expensive for 1 night

We loved the warm welcome and the friendly service at breakfast. The garden with the river flowing by is lovely. The room was clean and very comfortable. We had a private bathroom but not an ensuite However dressing gowns were provided.

It was a longer walk than we thought and according to the timetable there are no buses on a Sunday.

We had an amazing stay and can't recommend this place enough! Both hosts were exceptionally warm, friendly, and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The room was beautiful, with a peaceful river view that made it the perfect place to relax. Everything was spotlessly clean, the mattress was very comfortable, and the cozy bed linens made for a great night's sleep. The attention to cleanliness and detail throughout the room was outstanding. The highlight of our stay was the breakfast—it was simply unforgettable. The freshly fried eggs were delicious, and the care and warmth with which the hosts served every meal made the experience even more special. Their hospitality truly set this stay apart and made it worth every penny. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway.

Comfortable beds

Not a good experience overall. The property is very strict about the check-in time and refused to allow a late check-in, not even 30 minutes after the agreed time. We assumed this was because someone was waiting for us, but when we arrived perfectly on time—rushing and even skipping stops on our itinerary to make sure we were there on time—there was nobody from the property there. We sent a message, and a girl eventually came out. She spoke very little English, so we had to use Google Translate to get even basic information. She told us that she was actually a guest herself and that the owners were out of town for a few days. The entire parking area was full, so we asked her where we could park our car. She had no idea and suggested that we leave the car on the road. When we pointed out that we might get fined, she suggested parking on the driveway, blocking two other vehicles. The following day, the other guests needed to leave and called us to move our car. The whole situation was extremely uncomfortable. Furthermore, there was basically nothing left for breakfast because the guests who came before us had eaten everything, and the management did not provide any additional food, except for some eggs. This is not how hospitality should work. Overall, a very disappointing experience.
