A true hidden gem on Nusa Lembongan

This place is a real gem among accommodations on Nusa Lembongan. The rooms are very clean and simple, but perfectly equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The owner is amazing - always helpful, friendly, and smiling, with great communication from start to finish. There is a very nice swimming pool, and despite being located right in the heart of Jungutbatu, the place is peaceful and quiet. The location is excellent: close to shops, bars, restaurants, and at the same time just a short walk to the sea. For Nusa Lembongan standards, the internet was also very good (I work remotely), which was a big advantage. Overall, I highly, highly recommend this place. It met all my expectations and more. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would happily come back again.

Lovely swimming pool in spacious ground and a great place to stay.

I was made extremely welcome. I arrived early as on a ferry from sanur. that departed at 9.10am. and my room was already for me on arrival. Really nice spacious room that even had a large table in it. The bed was very comfortable and had nice, crisp cotton sheets and a lightweight blanket. I loved the pool which had nice grounds around it. I stayed for four nights but would have stayed longer but no vacancies. I was kindly told that after checking out of my room I could stay as long as I liked if I.wished. The island is quite small and easy to walk around and you can go everywhere on foot. I walked to the mangroves and went out on a canoe, as well as snorkelling from the beach there, out to the coral.The water is quite shallow, so you can actually snorkel over coral that would be too shallow for the tourists boats to get close to. It is also a nice walk to Yellow Bridge where you walk through Lembognan Village on the way. Local food is much cheaper here. Once reaching Yellow Bridge it is a nice walk over the bridge, to walk around Cenegan Island. Highlights would be Dream Beach and the view across to Penida. Definitely lots to do and see here.

There was an awful lot of waste and an awful amount of plastic bottles everywhere on the beach. It would have been good, if water bottle refills were offered here, to prevent so much unnecessary plastic. I was just told to buy bottles in shops, which simply adds to the mountain of empty plastic bottles everywhere . It was good that the place I moved to does offer free water bottle refills, as have many of the other places I have stayed at.

A great choice for those on a budget

Location is great and it is very quiet. The rooms are a good size. The pool is very pleasant to use after a long day. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The fridge in the reception area is great for storing your drinks. The water pressure and temperature in the shower was excellent.

The air-conditioning is not brilliant, but it’s OK. The rooms are only cleaned once every three days, which is fine for me, but may not be for everyone.

Amazing host, great energy, calm and quiet even though it’s on the main street. Close to the beach, close to restaurants, supermarkets and stores. It really feels like home. I highly recommend this humble homestay. For the money you spend on staying there, it’s as good as it can be.

Excellent homestay

The host Ongki was extremely welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely and clean and good AC. Great location in Jungutbatu! Communication was also great. The host sent a message via WhatsApp prior to arrival with helpful information and was very responsive when messaged during our stay. Ongki also helped to organise snorkeling trip for us.

Quiet haven surrounded by great restaurants

Lovely quiet haven in the midst of many great restaurants. The room was large and very clean. Despite being close to the main road, it was very quiet. Would definitely stay again if visiting Lembongan.

Choice for simple stay, good service transport

Very good help with the organising of trips: scooter rental, ferry boat, etc. Well located in Main Street. Nice pool.

Could improve on room service: cleaning room and clean towels only every 3 days and for a family of 4 this is too few. No water provided so you’ll have to shop your own water. No bar, no food, no breakfast. Enjoying the afternoon at the location was difficult because family is burning waste with horrible smell.

A little gem

A super homestay in a very convenient location. Set back from the road so it's lovely and quiet. Run by a friendly and helpful local family. Great pool in a peaceful garden. Bonus is the Kayu Cafe directly opposite which is fantastic.

Amazing stay!

Great stay! Very pleasant staff which directly made us feel welcome and gave us some nice tips. It is at the main road with everything directly accessible by walking. The best thing is that the accommodation itself is very quiet, not hearing any noise from traffic etc.

AMAZING PLACE!

Best stay in Indonesia!!!! An oasis in Nusa Lembongan. The cottages are so cute and the pool is perfect for cooling off at the end of the day! (have in mind that the sea in Nusa Lembongan is not very good for swimming, as there are boats docked all over the beach). It is very well located in the center of Jungbatu. A family-run place that is very well maintained, the rooms are large and clean, and the owner Ongki is incredible, super kind, helpful, always with a smile on his face! Our stay was wonderful.

Great for a one night stay!

Brilliant owner/staff. Very friendly and happy to explain the room. It’s spacious, clean, air conditioned. Accommodation has a pool and lounges to chill. Near some awesome seafood restaurants too.

Toiletries would have been a nice touch. Towels and linen were provided. Just slightly convenient if there was soap or shower gel too.

Terrible stay, do not recommend

Staff was very rude and the front desk would be empty for half the day, there was hairs on the bed on arrival and cleanliness was poor overall, grass was not cut, overall old property, very simple. They made us check out is at 10am, which is unheard of.

Excellent place to stay

Amazing place to stay in Lembongan! Great location in Jungutbatu, very close to the beach and to everything else you will need. We got the boat from Arthamas and it was a very short walk to the accommodation. The owner, Ongki, is very friendly and helpful! Rooms are comfortable, spacious and quiet. Definitely the place to be in Lembongan!

Lovely stay in Lembongan

Loved my stay here, it's a family business and it's wonderful to be able to help them to make this place even more special. Very quiet location but really close (walking distance) to the beach, supermarket, nice restaurants, atm, shops, etc. The room was very comfortable. Ongki was super helpful and so kind to help me with everything I needed, from small requests to make my stay more comfortable, to help me with boat ticket or an amazing snorkeling morning. I will definitely stay here again when I go back to Nusa Lembongan.

Ongki the host was amazing. So friendly, helpful and attentive. He rented us a great scooter, his mum runs the shop next door for fresh cold water and he was very responsive through WhatsApp whenever we had a question. Also, he’s ridiculous good at guitar so try and find out if he’s gigging round the island sometime and go check his band out. Location was perfect, right on Jungut Batu beach and close to everything. The room was brilliant - spacious, comfy bed, great air con, good wifi, big bathroom, hot water. The pool and the grounds were amazing too, kept in very good condition.

The only slight criticism we had was the funky smell coming from the drains in the bathroom on occasion, but honestly we’ve basically had that everywhere we’ve been in Indonesia so I’m not sure you can avoid it.

This home stay is so special! Very clean, great location in the heart of the community and yet set back so that it is quiet. Spotlessly clean and the grounds and pool also well kept. A basic room, but spotless and comfortable with plenty of hot water and v effective air conditioning. The best bit though is wonderful Ongki! Consistently happy, helpful and charming. I highly recommend a stay here. Great value for money ☀️(easy walk to the beach.)

Amazing beds ! Very cute place ! The pool is a nice place to chill ! The owner was super helpful, answered all our questions. You can also rent scooters ! It’s very central, close the beach, restaurants and shops ! And if you need a taxi, they can call one for you !

Comfortable, clean., modern homestay in a great location

We rented two rooms for the three of us. Both were spacious, comfortable, clean, modern - although getting hot water from the shower was a bit fiddly, and no drinking water was provided. The host was friendly and helpful, looking after our luggage for a few hours after checkout, and arranging a massage in the room. Good wi-fi. It was nice to have a small pool on the premises. The location is wonderful - 7 minutes walking from the beach , which is a classic white sand/pale blue water combo, dotted with fishing boats, bars and restaurants. There's lots of restaurants nearby, and a convenience store within 100m. Although it's on the "main" road, the rooms are set back, and very quiet. Recommended: we'd happily go back.

Great little homestay and definitely value for money

Large comfortable room with private patio, great area, close to beach and lots of eateries. Ongye the Manager was lovely. Highly recommend this place.

Liked everything but would like a wardrobe or shelving to put clothes. There's no fridge or tea/coffee making in room but don't really expect it for the price. ATM at other end of the island (Mushroom Bay) so bring cash.
