Great location

The location was perfect. The staff were lovely and friendly

The rooms we had were very tired and in need of serious maintenance. We were told on arrival that our rooms wouldn't be cleaned (we were there for 3 nights), but the staff were happy to give us clean towels and extra toilet paper when needed. Our door was jamming and they really didnt care. There was old food and ants in the fridge on arrival. The floors were sticky and the bathrooms were in poor condition 😔

Lovely stay overall.

Location is wonderful. Lovely breakfast, amazing to have it overlooking ocean every morning. Rooms are very comfortable and cleaning is as needed when requested, this was handy. Man on reception is a total sweet heart.

staff not letting you have a cushion for your chair when there's a few spots of rain around really ruined the mood. Also left my sunglasses near pool and came back for them 10 min later and no one could say where they were, that was disappointing

The food and location was amazing. The staff were fun and friendly.

We didn't like our bathroom. It smelled awful. It constantly flooded leaving you standing in gross brown water coming up from the floor waste while having a shower. Our toilet didn't flush because the cistern didn't fill up..we fixed it, so that was okay.

Staff laying around in main area. Had to go to them for drinks etc even when sitting at pool/ dining area. Had to get moved as aircon was not cold. But did note the next day it was being regased. So they where quick to remedy.

It’s location to everything. It’s right on the beach, and a short walk to Main Street

Two rooster crowing from 3:30am onwards. My sleep was awful due to this. There wasn’t anywhere to hang your bath towel or hand towel in the bathroom. Ants in the bedroom. Nothing to put soap on in basin or in shower.

Very nice stay right on the beach.

Bunglaow 15 that I stayed in was very nice, clean and comfortable, bathroom was nice. Restaurant right on the beach with tables in the sand was amazing. Pool overlooking the ocean. Food was quite good and cheap. Staff are friendly and helpful.

Love lembongan island and really enjoyed our stay here , would visit mega cottages again .

The location was the best .. right on the beach with a pool looking out to the ocean .. cute Bali style bungalow with a view of the sea , great air con .

The shower was of poor quality, no hot water and uncomfortable pebble rocks on base .. really weird and terrible lighting ..but we coped fine as was chilled out island vibe .. we were in the front bungalow which is older , there are newer ones at the back which look to be more modern .. will ask for one of those next time as we really loved staying at mega cottages . Best sunsets to watch here , with fabulous cocktails , magical memories.

Comfortable, good location, value for money.

Great location comfortable room friendly and staff mostly friendly. Recommend you use D’camel ferry as they arrive at a closer port compared some of the other operators. They also pick you up from your hotel and drop you to your accommodation at the other end. Tanis for example dock at mushroom Bay which is a considerable distance from Mega.

We tried several times to request a particular cabin up to 6 months in advance but got no reply from both Booking.com messages to the accommodation and direct email. So unfortunately we did not get the room we requested even though it was empty for most of our stay.

Right on the beach in the centre of everything. ✅ Close proximity to all bars restaurants and shops on the beach and on the Main Street. ✅ Owner and staff were really friendly and helpful with any requests. ✅Pool nice and right on the beach. ✅ Restaurant and bar conducted to property serving breakfast, lunch and dinner. ✅ Would definitely stay again, good value for money.

Great place to stay right on Jung Batu Beach. The staff are excellent always happy to help with any request.

The property was lovely. Clean and well kept. The staff are amazing and the food is great. The restaurant and bar close at 8pm so if you’re looking for somewhere on the quieter side this is right for you. Will definitely be coming back.

Toiletries supplied was only hand soap. You’ll need to bring your own shampoo etc.

My curtains and pillows were mouldy The shower had a hole in the floor and was not very clean Getting there is a mission, they drop you on the road and say it’s up that alley Absolutely no signage until you get right to tho e gate that you have to find I said to owner some signs would be good he just shrugged

LOCATION

Pool was constantly occupied by screaming children and entitled parents did not quiet them or allow adult only time. Shower was abysmal and awful. Bathroom seat lid kept smacking my back every time I sat down on it. No wifi at all in my room. Also avoid rooms in the far left rear near the burning garbage and trash area. Unsightly and omg the burning smell awful. Ask for the middle to front and on the far right side if standing at the hotel entry path from the street. Also confusing little pathway to the entrance but once you find it and know it not an issue at all. The location was the best part of this stay however sadly little time in the pool because the utter monopolizing of it by kids and selfish parents who were clearly aware there were many of us staying there with no kids trying to enjoy our holiday too. Local kids are noisy and pester you to buy things over and over and then they play super loudly right in front of your ocean view. This hotel is 2 star location is 5 star. Not a 3 star place. I just stayed in a 2 star hotel in Sanur that was incredible and clean and outstanding. Other than the location this is a 2 star hotel and the bathroom and shower is awful at least in my cabin it was. Maybe its a hit or miss thing but then the owner could be putting solo travelers in the worst rooms and couples who pay the same amount of money in better rooms. Perhaps a bias. My room as a solo traveler was 1 or 2 star and then no wifi and the burning trash so close. Thank goodness for the location to ease the stay and make it comfortable. The lounge chair cushions are dirty and some broken loungers and umbrellas. The LOCATION was an amazing! It was memorable for this definitely! I definitely missed not having any wifi in my room to watch my Hulu and Netflix. It was non existent the wifi. Only good near the office front area.

Lovely quiet and chilled family cottage stay on the beach!

We really enjoyed our stay at Mega Cottages! The location was great- very quiet and right on a white sandy beach and you can swim in the sea. Very chilled relaxed vibe. Spacious room with comfortable bed. Nice green tropical gardens. Great food in the restaurant bar and you can sit at tables or lounges on the sand :) or next to bar or pool. Lovely family running the Mega Cottages. Great value!

The alleyway/pathway from the busy road is NOT well signposted and very dirty. We just had to trust it was down there somewhere and then we found a peeling and faded sign. They need to put a new sign up on their stone gate!

The location, close to beach.

Although they have a couple of newer cottages, majority are run down and need a lot of work. They do not clean or make up rooms unless you specifically ask. Mould around the pool, you even have to go to the counter to get toilet paper.

Mega cottages was a great 3 night stay, comfortable bed, nice hot shower and great service. Staff always smiling and happy to help you.,Right on the beach you have the choice of laying by the pool or sea, watching the surfers and water taxis. Many restaurants to choose from.

Authentic Balinese bungalows on the beach

Beautiful location. The updated bungalows are lovely. The sea view bungalows are still waiting renovation. Staff very friendly and helpful.

The approach to the property is down an unlit alleyway which is share by other properties. Sadly it is not well maintained and there is lots of rubbish strewn around.
