This is a wonderful place to stay. The owners have clearly aimed for a certain vibe: peaceful, respectful, ethically and ecologically sound, good karma - and have absolutely nailed it. Right on the beach, literally, yet only a hundred metres or so from the main street where there are plenty of great restaurants. The accommodation was comfortable and welcoming and even the gentle, helpful manner of the quietly spoken staff adds to the feeling of tranquility. Nice touches too, like the use of frangipani blossoms for decoration. We loved it here and wouldn’t even consider anywhere else if we were to return.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike.

Downstairs room humidity

Amazing location and very well kept and clean

Air conditioning broke and dumped water on my wife’s suitcase wetting everything but they did offer a different room dried the clothes and repaired it next day, The biggest problem was with the shower as it would only maintain temperature for a minute before surging to scalding hot and then cold , it actually burned me one night 😢this was not rectified by the maintenance for the whole duration so 5 nights without a warm shower! The manager just seemed to have a different excuse every day, speaking to other guests we were not the only ones. Also bed was extremely noisy when you moved at all! Don’t stay if you’re on your Honeymoon! The mattress was also broken with springs poking you all night. The power point in the bathroom was broken for the duration too.
