Comfortable homestay in Lembogan

Large bedroom with balcony close to the beach and shops/restaurants. Nusa Lembogan was really lovely and we made the most of the nearby Little Prema Warung, which offers freshly grilled fish.

Breakfast was not included but not an issue as there were many options in the property and nearby.

Great value for money

Great value for money. I stayed in the budget room and it was clean and perfect for a few nights if you don’t mind something basic. Great location for couples and families, near restaurants and beaches. The owner organised my snorkelling trip to see the manta rays which was the best snorkelling I’ve ever done!

As a solo traveller I found it hard to find anywhere nearby to meet people. The area seemed to be shut by 10 or 11pm. It was a bit too quiet for me personally.

There were some holes in the wall which allowed bugs to get into the room. But then again, it was a very budget accommodation, so I did not expect perfection.

A Relaxing Getaway with Great Location and Pool

We had a really pleasant stay at Wahyu Homestay. One of the best things about this place is its prime location, just a short 2 minute walk to the beach, which made it super convenient for morning swims and sunset strolls. It’s also centrally located, so restaurants, shops, and scooter rentals were all within easy reach. The pool area was a highlight, a great spot to relax after a day of exploring. It’s peaceful and nicely maintained, adding a real sense of calm to the property.

The only downside was that cleanliness could be improved a bit, especially in the rooms - bathroom was alright. However, given the great location and value for money, it’s still a solid option for backpackers looking for a laid-back and affordable stay near the beach.

The location is amazing, just close to everything. The staff is friendly and helps with questions about transport etc. Also nice that you can eat at the property. Airconditioning was working well.

The shower was only cold or too hot. If you turn on both and only a little cold water, then it turns totally cold in some seconds. Also there were a lot of mosquitos, because of the open spaces in the bathroom to outside.

Good location but I wouldn't stay again

The location is ideal being very close to the beach and also the main street with lots of restaurants. There is a small swimming pool but I found i didn't use it because i preferred the beach. Not sure how clean it is either. The shower is powerful with hot water if needed. There is both air con and a ceiling fan in the room which I found useful. The restaurant is a nice area - i only ever had the muesli but it was nice with loads of fruit and the rest of the menu seems very reasonably priced

I suppose you get what you pay for, but the vibe here for me was that minimal effort was made. I never felt any particular friendliness towards me. The price was certainly good for the location, but the room was very basic, shabby and a bit dirty e.g. stains on the walls. This was the budget room - the other rooms may well be a lot nicer. My first 2 nights I had to contend with mosquitoes in the room. Internet could be patchy. If the homestay reads this then i recommend providing water refills. This is not just really appreciated by travellers but also reduces the amount of plastic on the island. No communication either on Booking.com or when i checked in that breakfast was available here, so the first morning I assumed I had to go elsewhere. Then the tour I booked through the Homestay for the 2nd morning included pickup at 7.45am (all snorkelling tours seem to start at 8 here) but i was told breakfast doesn't actually start until 8am, which doesn't seem helpful to me. Some of the staff are not particularly helpful or friendly. They are often seen lazing around on their phones in full view of the guests, which is not a good look in my opinion. It's an ok option if you're on a budget but i think i would have better enjoyed my stay on Nusa Lembongan if I'd paid more and stayed in nicer accommodation.

The owner and staff are very kind. The bike rental and food arrangements were perfect. We shouldn't ask for too much. We are quite satisfied with the price. Let's enjoy this environment.

On the day we stayed there, there was an open burning of waste materials at the construction site next door, which gave us a sore throat. The birds' chirping from early in the morning (midnight) was irritating. However, these were not caused by the hotel.

Good value

Loved my stay here. The owner and his family were wonderful, and the staff were great as well, very helpful. Never had a bad meal in their Warung and very reasonably priced. Beach was closer than I expected, and the location was walkable to many restaurants. Being solo, I felt safe the entire time. Definitely will be back.

There was at least one cockroach in the bathroom all the time(3 nights 4 days) Sometimes there were two or three. There was an AC but it was broken so I only had a fan. I was sweating even when I sleep. I forgot that if a private room is as cheap as a dormitory bed, the quality (e.g. hygiene) of that private room will be way worse than the one of a dorm room. I learned a lesson. I booked the cheapest room so other rooms might be nicer. Try avoiding the 1st floor to avoid cockroaches tho.

Property is one minute walk to the beach. The pool is divine. The food was excellent and very well priced. The owners and staff are absolutely wonderful. We are booked to go back again

Nice place to stay

The bed was so comfortable, best I had in Bali! The staff were really nice. A cute little pool for a dip was a nice touch. The room itself was very lovely and a decent sized bathroom. Restaurant food was basic, but quite tasty and super cheap! I ate there several times.

I had the room above the restaurant and next to the stairs. Unfortunately it was so loud I could hear all conversations and any time someone came up the stairs I could hear everything. So when people came back drunk late at night it woke me up. Can't be helped, but recommend choosing another room if possible.

Great value for money!

Great value for money, very nice owner. You get good food at a very good price, all day long. Great location, just a minute‘s walk from the beach and the busiest road. Big room and big shower/bathroom.

The room in front of the pool is also closest to where they serve food, can be a bit noisy in that room. The curtains are day curtains, if you‘re sensible to light like me you need a good sleep mask.

Excellent value for money. The family this place is adorable. Good and inexpensive restaurant. Owner can arrange scooters at a reasonable price. Can walk to the beach. Loved it!

For longer stays, only clean the room if you ask them but that’s an easy one to solve

Best place to stay and the Gado Gado rules!

Everything. Stayed 3 weeks whilst doing some freediving and already planning to come back.Absolutely lovely hosts and an awesome cheap restaurant. The food and Bali coffee was so good. I ate at least 30 Gado Gado's here!

Nothing. My only recommendation to potential guests is to consider a room with AC over the non AC one. Down to personal preference though but nights can be a little sweaty.

Absolutely loved our stay! Great value for money and the hotel manager recommended great tours and sorted our taxis for us. The pool is great and the rooms are clean and comfy. The restaurant on site has loads of options for food at a very cheap price.

Very good value for money. They have a nice Restaurant too with good food and good prices. We also did rent a scooter through them and got a brand new scoopy. They even allowed us to drop the scooter at the ferry, when we left the island.

Fantastic place

Everything was fantastic, we had breakfast at their restaurant each day (recommended the tomato cheese Jaffles). Room was big, bathroom was big, bed was comfy, shower didn't wet the entire room. Big balcony, fantastic pool in shade. Staff were friendly, laundry 25k per kilo, scooter rental 65k per day. 1min walk to beautiful sunset beach, cocktails at the resort to the right 30k during sunset time.

the best location, right next to the beach, shops and restaurants. It’s clean, comfortable, their food is so good and great value for money! Service is great and they are very friendly.

The place was just amazon. Clean, comfy and the food was the best. The Host where super friendly and they helped us oit with everything we needed. Would come back any time again. We loved our stay!!!
