A relaxing get away in the hub of Mangonui

We love the Waterfront Apartments this is our 2nd stay. Its a great location a short walk to shops, cafes, bar etc. Nestled high above the road, with great views of the harbour, beautiful sunrise to wake up to.

Our room was clean and comfortable. Also, there was proximity to everything. Daniel, thank you for a very lovely stay with our labradoodle, Toby. Our goal for last weekend was to rest and just relax. We achieved both, thank you for your hospitality🙂

We paid for a balcony instead we were given no balcony with front waterfront view. Very olden days needs upgrading had to use a heater/loud fan to keep warm or cool down.

Great location in a small, interesting village. Beautiful outlook across the water from the deck and front rooms. Sun shining in the rooms in the morning. Lots of space in an old but well maintained building. Drainage problem in the shower reported and fixed promptly.

The television kept freezing and disconnecting as the set top box or connections were faulty. Reported but not fixed during our 3 night stay.

The location and view was fantastic. Parking easy and comfort was fine.

No air-conditioning, which for the money paid per night seems like it should be there. It's an old building so would be very hot in summer. No curtain on bathroom window which can be seen through from apartment directly opposite. Shower drain was slow so you stood in water for entire shower. I filled the basin at one stage and the overflow pipe emptied onto the bathroom floor. Also no spare towels and no heated rail so after our first shower the towels remained wet and cold until we left.

Location was amazing and we had great views from the deck. Bed was very comfortable.

Room was cold and difficult to heat. While it is the middle of winter more heating in the lounge would be great along with a heated towel rail in the bathroom. It was impossible to dry the towels overnight.

Beautiful apartment full kitchen separate lounge and bedroom both with balcony overlooking the waterfront walking distance to cafes. Also a really nice welcome. I loved the history of the house going back to the first early settlers who built it 1903.

could do with a HRV system lot of condensation and cold in the morning took a long time for it to clear up even with windows and door open. I don,t think it would be a problem in the summer months probably a nice cool apartment with the high ceilings.
